    The Goodfather ?

I could see Marlon Brando wearing Knize Ten, but I think the Godfather would wear Acqua di Parma Colonia (or a Sicilian equivalent).

    That, or Joop!

I could also picture the Godfather wearing anything by ADP, maybe also by Acqua di Genova, Carthusia or Il Profumo di Firenze.

In truth, ( I speak as an Italian), he would have worn no fragrance at all.

However.....a man in his position would need only one frag.....one that exhibits power and class, yet never draws attention to itself. THAT...my friends....can only be Patou PH.

Acqua Di Parma or Santa Maria Novella.

Although nothing with an orange scent. Oranges always precede something bad happening in that movie.

The movie was set in 1945 so it would have to be something made before that. Maybe Canoe, Old Spice, Dunhill 1934 or Zizanie.

When I was a kid back in the 70's in NYC many of the older Italian Gentlemen wore Canoe, Patou (aromi) and Acqua Di Parma. The Younger Guys wore Paco Rabbane, Azzaro Pour Homme, and Grey Flannel

I watch The Godfather series about twice a year. I wondered myself "what would Vito Corleone wear"?
In this day, Lorenzo Villoresi Uomo.

Back in '45, Acqua di Parma Colonia.

Something with leather, incense, but fairly austere--perhaps Hermes Equipage
