Default i-Aroma - BNers in Japan?

Here's a story from July about a device planned for test in Japan. I found the story from a link in one of Avery gilbert's blog postings.

This actually sounds like it should work. The device contains 6 oils. Single oils or combinations can be released under computer control. I can imagine releasing by turning on a fan, openning one or more valves, and maybe heating the chosen oils.

Are any Basenoters in Japan participating in the trial? Or have you seen any additional information on this?

Tha Japanese are experts in the connoisseurship of scent. In the Heian era, nobles of the court would play guessing games based on the scent of incense being burnt.

This sounds like a lot of fun!
