Thumbs up Miss Dior Cherie by DIOR _vs_ CHAMPS ELYSEES by Guerlain

Im planing to buy a gift for my girlfriend, what would you recommend:

    Miss Dior Cherie by DIOR
    or
    CHAMPS ELYSEES by Guerlain

Please recommend only if you tried both. Thanks.

I've tried both, do you know which one she'd like?

Miss Dior Cherie smells like strawberries with basenotes of patchouli. It's fruity and sexy. Champs Elysees is lighter, more "girly girl" and it smells like pink mimosa blossoms with a touch of almonds to me. Think ruffles. Since I don't know what your girlfriend's taste is or what she wore in the past, I can't really recommend one over the other.

Another option is Carolina by Carolina Herrera, which also has strawberry notes without all the patchouli. It is playful, yet classy. That might be a good compromise, it's available at some of the perfume discounters for a great price. It's also not as recognizable as Miss Dior Cherie which is more common. They're all nice, imo.

Today I tested sample of DIOR Cherry and I did not like it at all

Now I understand what does it mean dark red description

So what would be light pink&light green perfume?

gregplus, every once in a while there is a thread about "what do guys like to smell on women". Alot of men seem to like Coco Mademoiselle and V&R Flowerbomb.

It's heavy on the patchouli. There's a lighter version called Miss Dior Cherie L'Eau, but I haven't tried it. For light pink and green scents, try Yves St Laurent Paris Springtime fragrances... they are limited editions.

I wouldn't describe Euphoria as light pink and green, tho... are you sure that's what she wants? I was thinking yesterday about Kenzo Amour for her, it's lighter but sensual.
