Default Scents and Sensibilities: An Article

This article from the July issue of the New Statesman argues that perfume is the form that all art aspires, its ephemeral nature forging a link between "materialism and free will." While I don't necessarily agree with the thesis presented, it is nonetheless an interesting read.

"The House of Creed is even more stable [than Guerlain]. Founded in London in 1760, it relocated to Paris in the 1850s, and remains family-owned today. One can as easily wear Fleurs de Bulgarie, created by Henry Creed in 1845, as Neroli Sauvage, created by Olivier Creed in 1994."

He really knows his stuff ! LOL.
