    Lightbulb Your Favourite CREED?

I think GIT is very over rated, not that I dont like it, but for the price I'd probably be better of with cool water...

What is your favourite fragrance by Creed and why?

Bois de Portugal is the only Creed I own and love presently.

I've gotten plenty of Creed samples from Nieman Marcus
and have a special love for Jasmin Impératrice Eugénie.

Original Vetiver gets a major thumbs up as well.

Your nostrils, which will dilate immesurably in unspeakable contentment, in motionless ecstasy, will ask nothing better for space, for they will be full of fragrance, as if perfumes and incense; for they will be glutted with complete happiness, like angels who dwell in the peace and magnificence of pleasent heaven.

Acier Aluminum. Because it is an excellent balance between powdery, aldehydic, sweet, and fruity. It is pretty linear in its evolution, but each moment of it is quite multidimensional.

Last month, when I was in London, bought my ONLY 2 Creeds. I was never really a fan of Creed from the get-go, but Angelique Encens and Cuir de Russie were heaven. So I actually fell in love with Creed after they discontinued them! I (apparently) bought one of the last 250ml Flacons still available in stock.

Because I love the indolic jasmine over the lovely sandalwood base. It's long lasting and a bit of a sillage monster, too. Samsara holds nothing on this Creed beauty.

I own Bois du Portugal and GIT.
When my bottle BdP is empty i will replace it immediately, i am not sure i will do the same action with GIT because It don't gives my the feeling that its worth where I paid for.I am sure BdP is worth the investment(for me)Just some doubts about GIT.Creed can keep the rest of their offerings;especially the overpriced and overrated MI ;to much money for a light smell of watermelon;I buy a real melon if I like to smell something like that.

Mine would have to be a 3 way tie between Green Irish Tweed, Millesime Imperial, and Silver Mountain Water.
(Original Santal and Original Vetiver are also excellent).
    Welcome aboard !.

The same with me! If you got these two creed fragrances, you are well-suited for absolute all ocations, all year round.

Himalaya is my number one Creed I just love the soapy white musk fragrance and I find I can wear it anytime of the year and anywhere.

My number two is Original Vetiver it is Summer in a bottle for me and a good soapy citrus scent for the hot weather.

Number three is Boi Du Portugal - this is a great smoky woody fragrance once you get past the lavender opening. It has a great drydown.

    Howdy!
I love pine and resinous scents. So my favorites are:
Cypres-Musc, which is a wonderfully dry rendition of cypress, very elegant
    Epicea, a smoky-green pine scent

I also have Erolfa, which isn't bad.

    Original Vetiver for hot weather.
    Original Santal for clubbing.
    Vanisia for cold weather.
    Irisia for contemplative, artistic moods.

Of those, I think O.V. is probably my favorite favorite.

My number one Creed is Bois du Portugal, without doubt.

Second is probably Tabarome. Third favorite gets scattered among GIT, Erolfa, and Himalaya.
(For some reason, Milliseme Imperial just doesn't hit me right.)

I enjoy the vegetal ginger in the recent Tabarome formulation, but it doesn't last long enough to warrant buying a bottle, IMO, because the drydown is nothing special.

with the cooler weather imminent, bois du portugal and santal imperial are huge in my rotation right now. original vetiver and selection verte are EXCELLENT in the summertime. green irish tweed is a year round favorite of mine, i think you should give it another shot?

edit-> oh, i made a grave error. santal imperial is what i meant, not original santal (which i find ghastly).

My favorites are the EDTs - they brought me back into the Creed fold when the Millesimes didn't make sense because I was using them too strongly. Unlike many scents which turn ghastly when overdone, I think Creeds often smell reasonable when they're too strong - but they don't have the same magic that they do when they're used just right. My EDT faves...
    • Bois de Cedrat - heavenly, natural citrus - ephemeral but beautiful
    • Epicea - all that is beautiful in pine and nothing that's cheap - gorgeous
    • Santal Imperial - quiet, comforting, classy
    • Baie de Genievre - the most natural juniper berry scent around
I love Tabarôme and BdP, too. GIT is a wonderful scent, but it took me a long time to get it - which was when I smelled it on other people.

    Cool Re: Your Favourite CREED?

Duke: It's a toss up between Himalaya, which can be worn anytime, anywhere and feels as if you're tap dancing in heaven; or Vintage Tabarome, a favorite of Humphrey Bogart and Churchill, which can be worn if you're going to sock a bad guy in the jaw, or smoke a cigar at an aristocratic gentleman's club, prior to ordering a commando raid.

There are romantic Creeds, aquatic Creeds, decadent Creeds, superbly constructed Creeds (Baie de Genievre!) and boring Creeds.

Yes, you have my permission to look up my wardrobe and reviews.

    Welcome to the madness!

It was likely inspired by Gray Flannel and probably begat Cool Water. But it does what it does better than both of them

    SMW

A good, lighter alternative scent for my wardrobe. But it's longevity is bad on me

    BdP
