Am I the first to notice this?

THAT IS SO LAME! Anyway, Tang's are imaginative & beautiful creations. This is some computer generated junk.

Thank you SenZuality - yes Tang's are artistic and Fragrantica's are a computer generated gimmick .

Some of the results it pulls are very ambiguous.
It doesnt just pull colours of the bottles, but also props and advertising paraphernalia pictured around the bottles.

I admit Fragrantica is not the first site I consult when I research a fragrance ! Though it does have some useful information.

I've actually looked them up by color on Fragrantica prior to several contests, just to make sure I don't use too many that can be found there!

And thanks for the compliments... this thread gave me warm fuzzies tonight.

Here are the links to all of the wallpaper images (so you don't have to visit each contest thread):

I love Tang's wallpaper images! They made it over to Make Up Alley before I even knew where they came from! Very cool.

The inconsistencies on Fragrantica bother me. Like completely incorrect listings of notes that are readily available on the designer's websites

Oh dear... I am so late to this thread... Tang, these wallpapers are lush!
Do you have a complete list of the names of all the purple bottles as Ive become quite obsessed at the prettiness of them all and want to read about them!

I always thought Tang's beautiful wallpaper images would make great posters, like those Irish Doors posters... The titles could be underneath.

That's actually a fun feature on Fragrantica, imo. It doesn't seem like it's exactly right, though. A few other colored bottles will pop up among the one you selected.
