Default Helena Rubinstein - WANTED worn by Demi Moore

I was in Macy's yesterday and saw a big display for Wanted. Demi Moore is fronting the ad campaign.

Never heard of it before yesterday and was surprised to find no one has posted on it yet.

Any of you ladies try it yet? It is described as a vibrant woody floral fragrance full of sensual carnal tension.

Notes include: ylang, wood magnolia and iris cream.

I saw the display in Macy's a couple weeks ago, but the tester was gone. Probably got stolen as it was right next to the store entrance.

For some reason the cheesy name and celebrity endorsement just do not work for me. Both feel like they cheapen the scent. Not sure why, just preconceptions I suppose. The notes sound nice but for the 1st HR scent in ages, I would have liked something a wee bit more poetic name wise. And I don't think HR needs a movie star who hasn't done anything relevant in YEARS (other than some brilliant & seemingly magical age defying surgical procedures) promoting their perfume.

I scanned boards & found one review on Make Up Alley, Wanted does not seem well received. A few references to "smells ok on paper, not on skin". One tester was compared Wanted to Lacoste Pour Femme.

Nothing that makes me want to try it, although "a vibrant woody floral fragrance full of sensual carnal tension" sounds interesting

Why, oh, why did she choose Demi Moore a face???? It has completely discouraged me to even try the scent.

I have to say I am looking forward to testing this one, but there is no sign of it yet in the UK. The notes sound just my thing, and I can easily tune out to the rest of the nonsense.

I have to agree with the sentiments already posted - Helena Rubenstein had more credibility as a brand before the celebrity association. HR used to seem so sophisticated and chic - this seems desperate and gimmicky. I would think that they would want to go in the opposite direction now that celebuscents have become such a cliche.

That said, the notes are enticing to me, too, VM. And if it's good and not too pricey, I'd wear it. It's a huge consolation that it's named Wanted, and not Just Me, Demi! or....Oui Oui Demi.....Demi, Myself, I. I could go on.

It could be worse. At least they didn't name it Cougar.

Comparisons to Lacoste Femme do not bode well. That was scented-tampon territory.
