Default Suggestions for niche present day 1980's - style Powerhouse

I know from reading BN's threads that Profumum Fumidus and Mazzolari Lui are among these in erms of sillage and longevioty, but I would like to know if there are any other in terms of the typical structure found in 1980's-style powerhouses. Moreover, am I wrong or some of the Serge Luten's could be qualified as such?

Thanks in advance for your response!

Sarrasins punched me in the face in the nicest possible way the first time I smelled it. Maybe give it a go?

Maitre Perfumer et Gantier has a great one: Parfum d´Habit.
Maybe, from the same house also: Eau des Iles
Lighter and not as powerful, CSPs L´eau du Gobernor and Barbier des Isles share a 70s / 80s structure & vibe

Even if it has quite a few floral and sweet Oriental notes, which are in contradiction with the powerhouse concept, the overall impression of Creed BDP is, especially after the drydown, of an, all in all, still very manly, classy, almost domineering (and I mean it in a good sense) powerhouse frag.

I love Mazzolari Lui and MPG Eau des Iles. I also love my Vintage Yatagan. The funny thing is I find them all quite warm and reassuring to wear (after the initial blast out of the gate). I feel really comfortable with these.

1740 by Histoire de Parfums might be worth a try. It's certainly not shy - I find it a challenge but it may fit your definition.

Great thread. I agree with the Mazzolari recommendations. Several posters have mentioned the great MPGs and the wonderful Yatagan, but what this thread seems to be asking about is what are the more recent fragrances in the mold of those great earlier frags.
