I am going to get it for christmas.
Also, Guerlain Vetiver heavy enough to wear in the winter?
I second Guerlain Vetiver and Rive Gauche.
Also, my personal fave, Armani Eau PH might be a good choice.
I could wear Kenzo Power all year, its easy to wear in summer, but also very easy to wear in winter autumn and sping,
I really really like the stuff, but to be honest I still couldn't wear one frag the whole year. I have to have variety lol

Yep - Geurlain Vetiver is your answer.
Its very hard for me to find Guerlain testers retail around here. I guess I will have to order a sample from somewhere...
Where's "Around Here"?
Tom Ford Splits!!!! - Tobacco Vanille, Tuscan Leather, Oud Wood, Noir de Noir - PATCHOULI ABSOLU
Plum Japonais, Italian Cypress, Neroli Portofino, Costa Azzura, Azure Lime, Champacca Absolute
HARD TO FIND - Lavender Palm, Arabian Wood, and AMBER ABSOLUTE, etc...
Most of the time I am very proud of the Basenotes community. Time after time I have witnessed the thoughtfulness, empathy & genuine friendship that members of this community extend to others - oldtimers & newcomers alike. There are other times, however, when egos get the upper hand and civility goes out the window. My philosophy is that I won't say anything here that I would not say if you were standing in front of me. Welcome to Basenotes, each and every one of us. ~ TwoRoads

Oh, and all year fragrances in Memphis ?
Bulgari pour Homme
Bulgari pour Homme Soir
Bulgari Black ( but not hot summer)
Bulgari Aqua ( but not cold winter)
Bulgari Blu Notte
....don't thank me. Thank Jenson. Actually, just buy a Bulgari and leave the Vetiver...any vetiver () at home.
Chanel Allure Homme Sport
Chanel Pour Monsieur Concentree
Green Irish Tweed.
Does TM's Ice Men fall in the "all year" category? I have only smelled it once and have been meaning to revisit it.
if price is not an issue, I 2nd Green Irish Tweed
I have a little GIT already.
I'd have to say 212 Men
Green Irish Tweed
I can't see your wordrobe , so those were blind sugestions . Hm, I have worn Chanel PMC today too , great feeling , isn't it ?
I love Armani Code , but i feel like it is not to popular around here , I wear this one all year round , Dior Homme is my safe choice too whenever I want to feel luxurious and elegant ,...
If you were thinking about guerlain vetiver anyway, maybe encre noire? I only tried it recently, but I'm very impressed by how clean its dirtiness is, so to speak.
Ok so I'm considering these from this threads suggestions so far:
Vetiver by Guerlain
I just need validation that these are kind of all year fragrances for Memphis TN USA
You know, one fragrance that I could wear all year round is Bay Rum. It is a surprisingly refreshing tonic in the heat of summer, but the depth of spiciness is perfect for winter as well.
I'm having a very hard time finding samples for Guerlain vetiver anywhere and its not in department stores and the perfume store here doesn't have a tester of it
Kenzo Jungle? or is it too sweet for summer?
To me, if you say "all year" fragrance, it is gonna have to be vetiver based or a fougere. That is just my opinion, though.
Chanel Allure Homme Sport pour moi.
Magellan by Fragonard
However, I would also add to the all-around category woody/leather/chypres. Many of them are not too heavy and not too light.
Versace L Homme
Gucci PH II
The only thing that interferes with my learning is my education.
So I tried a great deal of "all yearers" at Sephora.
Surprisingly Kenzo Power was the one that really took me away. It was the first time in a long time where I thought verbatim "Holy f*** that smells good" after smelling something.
Vetiver by Guerlain was a little too dated and linear for me.
Their Homme was similar.
212 Man was nice and I have heard anyone mention this before and never even noticed before myself, but the opening smells like SMW
212 Sexy Man was a wannabe Le Male
Dior Homme was nice
Dior Homme Sport smelled like sushi dinner if you get what I'm saying.
All in all i think I'm gonna go with Kenzo Power
Cool, Its my current fav and It will be even better in the summer, I really like the bottle too, kinda unique...
I'm confused, though, as to the different versions of Kenzo Power. Which is the strongest version? What is the Friache?
I am glad that you found a scent that you like, and that we were able to give you some suggestions.

Is there a Kenzo Power EDP by any chance?
Pappy, the Dillards at wolfchase mall has some guerlains. Its near the womens fragrance counter.
Is the juice worth the squeeze?
Laura Tonatto - Albi
Guerlain's Habit Rouge edc
Caron's L' Anarchiste
Aramis by Aramis
Versace's L' Homme
Chez, GIT, himalaya, maybe even VIW if its always warm. I cant get enough of VIW.
I post lots from my I phone so if this looks like a text message that's why ( :

If there were only one I could use all year it would definitely be Armani PH. Fantastic stuff!
Rive Gauche is recommended a lot, but I can't imagine wearing it every day - it is just too strong. It really is like a French version of Quorum to me, and I love both RG and Quorum, but not every day.
My year around choice would be Tabac Original in either the EDC or EDT. Have you ever tried it?
GIT and ADP Colonia Assoluta are my year round favorites.
It's super hot here in the summer (but usually no humidity) and GIT seems to do well.
