    Default Lime scented frags?

I've always loved the smell of lime and after seeing a post containing Old Spice lime,
I'd like to know if anyone has any suggestions for lime dominated frags?

DR Harris make a "Classic Cologne" which is basically a very nice British-style cologne with a dominant lime note instead of lemon. A lovely pick-me-up frag.
Truefitt & Hill's "West Indian Limes" is also a nice, if a little brief, classically-styled Lime cologne, but it's quite sweet - like the lime note in Old Spice Lime. Trumper and Taylor of Old Bond Street both make a lime cologne too, but these are more realistic interpretations of limes, IMO.

I prefer the Harris, personally. Relatively cheap, and not bad longevity for a lime cologne - around 5 or 6 hours.

    L'Artisan Navegar - spicy and somewhat anaemic;
    M. Micallef White Sea - full-bodied lime due to the amber-patchouli base

Truefitt & Hill's offering is nice, but short-lived. Also agree with Rochas Moustache.

The challenge of lime is that often the best are so short-lived.

Also, Jo Malone's Sweet Lime and Cedar. I like it a little more, but I don't think I'd own a bottle of either.

Guerlain Homme - not a masterpiece, but has a pleasing 'creamy' quality that makes it a little different from other lime frags.

I absolutely love Truefitt and Hill's West Indian Limes. Fresh and vibrant, unlike the "dirtier" lime of Jo Malones Lime Basil & Mandarin. Sure, it doesn't last too long but its perfect for an out-the-door splash or something to wear after a post-workout shower when you want feel fresh and relaxed.

Though many think of it as a cheapie, check out Dunhill's Desire (red bottle) for a combo of lime, green apple and vanilla. Some hate it, but I love it and its a definite headturner.

    This.

Let me chime in and tell you NOT to consider Montale's aromatic lime, it smells like pert shampoo, and amouage ciel, no Limes here.

I'll agree with Truefitt and Hill's West Indian Limes! Good stuff.

I recently had the pleasure of sampling Anglia Perfumery's Imperial Lime. This stuff it definitely bottle worthy.

Admitedly, I'm a little new at this game... jsut to put something new in the mix:
L'eau D'Issey has Ouzo, which to me smells more tart/sour then a normal lemon, maybe bordering on lime? - http://www.basenotes.net/ID26120927.html
I also remember Brooks Brothers sells Royall Lyme... might be a new interesting one. haven't personally tested it though - http://www.basenotes.net/ID26121402.html
NEW STUFF FOR SALE - TOM FORD, Guerlain, Acqua Di Parma, Serge Lutens, Byredo, Diptyque, etc. .

Most of the time I am very proud of the Basenotes community. Time after time I have witnessed the thoughtfulness, empathy & genuine friendship that members of this community extend to others - oldtimers & newcomers alike. There are other times, however, when egos get the upper hand and civility goes out the window. My philosophy is that I won't say anything here that I would not say if you were standing in front of me. Welcome to Basenotes, each and every one of us. ~ TwoRoads

My favorites so far are Eau de Cologne Imperiale, which has a lime front bolstered by slightly indolic lime blossoms and my other is Spiced Limes by Crown Perfumery. Citrus is a never-ending pit of deliciousness.

Try Bond No.9 Central Park. That's my "fancy" summer frag. Very pleasant limey topnote.

I will chip in with Crabtree & Evelyn's West Indian Lime. It is modestly priced, and an extremely engaging entrant in the lime based fragrance category.
