Default Cartier Pasha vs Caron 3rd Man vs Caron Yatagan

Please help me choose one scent. I have a travel spray of Pasha already and like it, but I wish it lasts longer. My wife doesn't like it as much though. As for the Carons, I've never sniffed them, but I'd like to have a Caron scent in my wardrobe.

    Thanks.

Every classic collection should have both Carons though try Yatagan before you buy .

    Perfect answer!
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, and sorry I could not travel both and be one traveler, long I stood and looked down one as far as I could to where it bent in the undergrowth; Then took the other, as just as fair, ...... I shall be telling this with a sigh somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I -- I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference. - Robert Frost

    Neither could I.

I bought mine blind off the internet. I haven't checked lately but a couple of years ago they were easily available and inexpensive.

I've only smelled Pasha once in passing and I cannot recall what it smelled like. Apparently, it didn't move me enough to remember it, but as always, another mans ambivalence is another mans obsession.

Yatagan and Le3Male are both excellent and extremely different one from another. I believe 3rd Man is an underrated diamond and superior to Yatagan in every way.

Both 3rd Man and Yatagan are classics, no doubt. But they are two very opposite frags.

    Yatagan is brutal and "ugly."

3rd Man is as "pretty" a scent as there is for a man.

    Good luck.

I own Pasha and love it. It lasts forever on me.

3rd Man is an absolute classic and will never be without a bottle.

While I understand Yatagan is a classic, it just doesn't work on me.

I would put Pasha and 3rd Man on pretty equal footing, it depends on my mood and the situation as to which one I would choose. Pasha is a little more formal, 3rd Man is more versatile.

I will revisit Yatagan one day soon, and see if we get along any better.

The scent grows richer, he knows he must be near
He finds a long passageway lit by chandelier
Each step he takes, the perfumes change
From familiar fragrance to flavours strange
A magnificent chamber meets his eye

Yatagan. (I bought it blind and I love it)
Third man.(I bought it blind and I like it a lot)
Pasha. (I bought a bottle many years ago and I already forgot how it smells like.. )

Definitely Cartier Pasha. I think it's lasting is very good; one of the bests. But really in longevity case, between this three, i think Yatagan is winner.

since i posted above i have purchased Pasha
I find it very rich & sophisticated upon application , classic material but as it dries down develops a very slight hard candy like aroma which prevents it from entering my hall of fame

I accept that Pasha is a complicated and unexpected fragrance. It's official, sporty, bitter, sweet, soapy, woody, citrus, spicy, aromatic, fougere,...! Nonetheless it's a underrated fragrance. I couldn't stop sniffing it in the first time. It's a type of fragrance that all people have idea about it. Somebodies hate it, and somebodies like it. At least it forces people to think about it. And it has very good sillage and longevity too. I like to count it as a masterpiece.
