Bergamotto Marino by Ferre.
Hello, I am looking for a cologne that will remind me of the sea or ocean in addition to pine growing next to the beach. I grew up near the Baltic Sea and need to find a fragrance that resembles the beach next to pine forest there. Also, I like fir balsam alot. I am looking for raw salty aquatic, not the fruity or sweet ones. Also if you have any suggestions about sea scented fragrance that does not incorporate the pine or fir balsam, please let me know too. Thank you for your help.

Yatagan has a wonderful salty note over the pine a damp undergrowth vibe. I think this is why it reminds certain (pitiably wrong-headed but otherwise, I'm sure, lovely) people of broth. Check it.
Aquatic? No no, it's the anti-aquatic!
In my mind, Yatagan does not conjure images of chilly coastlines neighboring coniferous forests. It's quite a "hot" scent.
DocmanCC, if you're counting three 'no's' for ocean, sea and aquatic, then I'm going to count pine, conifer and evergreen on my side.
Creed Epicea is the best pine fragrance out there IMHO.
Go with Erolfa for the oceanic vibe.
Kenzo pour homme.
Grey Flannel For Me, it's a living tree that has been morphed into a liquid!

Sometimes the cheap stuff works.
In this case try "Pino Silvestre". Not so much sea but a whole forest of pines.
A lifetime supply to be had for the price of one bottle of Niche Nr. 2687

Issey Miyake's L'Eau Bleue d'Issey. Pine forest at the edge of a lake for me. No salt-tinged oceans though, sorry. For that seaweed/marine feel you might want to give Bulgari Aqua a shot.

You have described Olivier Durbano's Turquoise precisely as I have.
Please read this: http://sorceryofscent.blogspot.com/2...turquoise.html
Its the best aquatic/ozonic scent I have found with wonderful pine-like accords.
