Default Himalaya sample -- The Review.(in progress)

I havn't worn it yet, I'm waiting until dinner out tonight to slap it on.

So far right out of the vial it smells like Liz Claiborne's Mambo and smells suprisingly astringent for a Creed.

    more to come.

Ok been wearing for around an hour now:

There is something sweet and cloying that bothers me. The ambergris (i think) in the drown down is apparent now and I sense something citrusy and incensy .above the waxy base

It still smells like Mambo by Liz Claiborne.... a very very high quality Mambo.

I'm actually shocked the correlation between the two scents has never been brought up before...

I have to say I do love this scent and I get a soapy white musk fragrance from smelling it and I have a full bottle. I have found with this scent that I can wear this in any situation and any season.

I like the drydown sorta. Its a bit heavy and cloying even in 29degree cold weather.

Of the Creeds I have tried its my least favorite, but still decent.

Hmm I definitely don't get Mambo, at all. Maybe I had a fake batch that was unbelievably good smelling! I certainly don't much of a cloying factor as well.

I wish I could get another sample of this. Very unique fruit smell, blackberries or something. Longevity was abortive however.
WTT: Creed SMW for Creed GIT.

I don't know... it just didn't take me over like SMW or GIT.

It was nice, but I feel there are better Creeds ....at least for me.

Yeah, and to me Creeds are very unique.. they all smell different on the individual person, more so than other houses in my opinion.

Totally. I hear a lot of complaints about SMW longevity, but on me that stuff lasts into the next day.

Himalaya still totally smelled like Mambo to me.
