    Default Franck Olivier Perfume

    Can anybody describe this rare scent to me? Franck Olivier by Franck Olivier in the white, shell-shaped flagon? I have heard great things, but I am considering buying some, and I would like some comparisons or reviews, please. Is it floral or more fruity? Is it loud? Subtle?

    Any information or impressions will be helpful. Thank you.

    I thought I was the only one at BN aware of this fragrance. :-)

    Top: Black currant, raspberry, white peach, plum, passionfruit, grapefruit;
    Heart: Bulgarian rose, jasmine, violet;
    Base: Sandalwood, vetiver, iris, honey, musk, bourbon vanilla.

    It is heady and potent. More fruity than floral and very sweet. Musk is not very pronounced, it dries down as a woody scent. It is, IMHO, the best of Franck Olivier and a favorite here. I was able to find it at one retailer but with $9.95 delivery fee I thought I'd better wait. Please get it, if it is not to your liking I will be able to rid you of it.

    That bottle looks very familiar?! I wonder if I'm thinking of Silences?! THIS has peaked my interested!

    It is a different bottle in look and feel than Jacomo Silences. FO is covered in plastic. The shape can also remind you of Cerrutti 1881 and several more, can't it? :-)

    There were some accessories from Diva, which looked like it. It reminds me of various things.

    I am looking forward to receiving my purchase. Thanks, TWolf! You may hear from me, if I hate it!

    Well, my 'Franck Olivier' arrived, and I would describe it as VERY VERY similar to 'Il Bacio'. It's deeper, clearer and more powerful, but so similar.
    I think it's a good one, but I find it too fruity for my tastes. The bottle is fabulous, though; it's heavy ceramic, not the plastic I thought from the picture.

    Sweet, powerful, powdery. The top is a bit fruity but not in a girly way. The powdery character is there, as is the ylang-ylang and vanilla. Classic yet modern. Long-lasting too.

    I think we have a winner!

    Available at Amazon and Fragrancenet.
