GIT is the best because it revolutionized men's fragrances. This was the beginning of the green chypre that was somewhat aquatic.

Green Irish Tweed is perfect in every way, except longevity. For the time it lasts, it is great. It should be in every serious collection.
Also enjoy very much Royal Oud. The turkish delight top note is fun. Bois de Portugal is very sophisticated and I can imagine wearing it a lot when I am older.
Royal Scottish Lavender and Royal English Leather are both passable.
Other than that, Creeds are either pretty yet transient smells or disappointing.

SMW and Aventus are the two I am most familiar with, and I love both. Unfortunately after it dries down, SMW is just so dang faint. I love the drydown though. Aventus... I just love it, and it projects and stays like a monster. I get slight moth balls from the C_x02 batch, but no one else seems to think that, and I don't mind it.

BdP is a "man's man" cologne. As others have said, I respect it but I would never wear it. It's one of the few Creeds I was not tempted to buy. It just smells like an old man....to me, and brings the image of going down to the Elks Club and mingling with the greasy haired smokers as they play cards.

I could not pick one "best" Creed, but my favorites are OV, SMW, MI, Green Valley, Selection Verte, Windsor, Bois de Santal, Santal Imperial and Citrus Bigarrade.

Absolutely true for me (on my skin) as well. I have tried Tabarome MI (not vintage), SMW, Himalaya, and I think Santal...none have touched BdP in terms of how nice *I* think it smells on me--the thing that matters.

What can I expect to get for my bottle of 120 mL Tabarome Millesime (~60% full)?

I doubt you'll like Private Collection/ Vintage Tabarome then--it is a very old school fragrance! If I had to choose a "best," VT would be my choice. The first whiff is simply a grand sensory experience. VT is robust in terms of longevity as well. Several other Creeds deserve mention of course, but the best of the best for me is VT. On a tangential note, VT is more rich and complex than vintage Patou Pour Homme or vintage Derby IMO.

It is not really unique, but this scent makes me somehow get addicted.
Its longevity and projection are greater than any other Creed products.

But nevertheless, I wished Aventus would be a bit cheaper.

Many people says that aventus is not really unique, but with all the frag I smelled (hundreds..) I never cam across something very similar. Yes, some have pineapple notes too, soome frag are smoky too, but the way aventus smell, the mix of pineapple and smoky, the vibes it makes, its quite unique IMO. Its not like those light sporty frag that almost smell all the same.

Totally subjective. However, my review of Baie de Genievre reveals where my heart is:

The 1980s was the golden age of Creed releases. Sure, we have the classical period before that which gave us Cuir de Russie, Cypres-Musc and Angelique Encens. Before that we had Creed's archaic period with its specatular period pieces like vintage Tabarome and Royal English Leather. Following the 80s we have the new age Creed offerings with their unisex appeal... all great fragrances. The 1980s, however, saw the release of Creed's three greatest scents ever: Baie de Genievre, Green Irish Tweed and Bois du Portugal.

While Green Irish Tweed and Bois du Portugal probably far outsell Baie de Genievre, Baie de Genievre, Feuille de Canellier (as it was originally marketed) is the simplest and most elegant of these fragrances, perfectly ballancing it's three simple notes. Its austerity of notes creates one of the purest--yet richest--Creeds available. My favorite Creed.

If I say that it is not unique, then I mean that I have ever smelt something like this.
And this "something" must not be a fragrance, but a room, a personīs smell or whatever.

My wife, younger daughter, and I tested 3 of 'em at Neiman Marcus in Chicago recently. We decided:

Yet when all was said and done, we still thought Paco Rabanne 1 Million was better and *way* cheaper than any of these Creeds.

Creed Bois du Portugal is a fantastic fragrance. It is very masculine with a beautiful, woodsy dry down. And unlike most Creed fragrances that I use, BDP actually lasts on my skin. Incredible. I would suggest that this fragrance is also a tad on the mature side. I receive many compliments when wearing BDP which happens to be one of my signature scents. Highly recommended and you will not come across many other guys wearing it. A plus as far as I am concerned.

For those who know CREED, have an understanding that every fragrance is made with the finest ingredients from around the world. It's like fine wine! Choosing a fine bottle of wine is not a fast process. Yes I can walk into a store and buy a bottle for a few bucks, but if I am looking for a great tasting wine, I definitely want to have a taste before putting out the dough! The same way I say with a fine fragrance. I could not tell you a particular one is the best. Everyone has their own chemistry and with every fragrance, you will naturally pick up certain notes more than others. It's best to sample a few first.
I have been a CREED Fragrance Specialist for some time now. I never expect to sell a bottle of CREED to someone that is just learning about the fragrances. I love to take the time and see what type of notes you enjoy and most importantly, what settles on you the best. That takes time and I understand that. So I say this to you, try a few out on your skin and I don't mean spray yourself all over with different ones!
Two at a time I feel is best. One on each arm and let it settle without rubbing! That's very important.

Of the eight Creeds that I've sampled so far (I will be receiving 5 more soon :P), Aventus, GIT, and MI are my favorite.

Not only are they my favorite creeds, they are my favorites, period. Aventus really stands out as the hard-hitter. Unapologetically masculine, but kinda gentle too. GIT is brilliant. It smells much like Cool Water for the majority of the run, but as it starts to fade after several hours, the "green" in Green Irish Tweed starts to come out, and it's brilliant. MI is also simply wonderful. It's the "brightest" of the three, I would say. I honestly can't really describe how it smells, except to so say that it oh so wonderfully... delicious?

We'll see how I feel after I receive Original Vetiver, Spice and Wood, Jardin d'Amalfi, Windsor, and Himalaya. I doubt any will surpass the three I just mentioned, though. What's unfortunate is that I can only afford one at the moment.
