Default Most shallow wine-fridge or mini-fridge

Does anyone know what the most shallow wine fridge or mini-fridge on the market is?
When I say shallow, I mean it's depth from the wall.
I don't want to have colognes 2-3 deep, I would much prefer a shallow fridge with each bottle/box 1 deep.
It can be as wide or tall as possible, but the depth/shallowness is utmost.
Maybe there isn't a shallow one?

This one is pretty shallow (found by googling "shallow depth refrigerator") -- no idea where to find it, though! :

    Cute looking fridge!

But honestly I don't know if you'll have much luck with this one. I helped my old rommate shop for a wine fridge for her kitchen and never came across anything "shallow", I may even go as far as saying that they probably have a standard size depth.

Good luck though let us know if you find one.

Most small refrigerators and wine coolers are very similar in depth so, I would recomend leaving the back area unfilled to solve your need but, more importantly to allow good flow of the cold air as most are now fan driven. I now have three refrigerators and a wine cooler in service and they do the job just fine.

Perhaps there are WIDE wine coolers or mini fridges with glass shelves then?
I'm not settling for wire shelving.
Any much wider than they are tall?
Possibly a large wide one, but short for a tabletop?

Aha! Found it! The fridge in my earlier post is a Bosch Classic Edition Refrigerator KDL 19469:

Apparently it came out in 2006. Not that that helps you find an older model, but at least you know what it is.

I use a wine cooler and a mini fridge the size of the one in 30 Roses's link, and like you'd suspect, I face the problem about having to reach in and behind and knock some bottles over, especially in my wine cooler since I line rows 4 bottles deep to save space. I too am looking on a cheap deal for yet another mini-fridge or cooler to store some bottles that I didn't manage to squeeze, OR I could actually get rid of some bottles instead .Btw, I've searched in many local malls and shops and have never found anything tall or very wide the way you describe. The largest ones i've seen are those used in restaurants. Good Luck!

I use a regular old fridge, but simply set the boxes and bottles inside stiff, heavy, luxe shopping bags that slide out. I can fit four across on each shelf. Then it doesn't even matter if the shelves are wire (it actually works better, and keeps the bags dry), and you can get something from the back as easy as from the front. Just slide the bag forward, pick a box or bottle, and slide it back. If I wasn't such a cheapskate, I'd get real plastic trays roughly 6 inches deep, 8 inches wide, and 18 inches long. That might work even better.

Or if I had a half-dozen of them, I might use USPS mail trays (those plastic disposable mail trays they sometimes send home with you after saving the mail). But the luxe bags work pretty well.

Try searching for a "beverage center." They're a little more expensive, but they tend to be a little shallower.
You could just use a wine cooler and lay the bottles down. It's not a big deal. Or remove some of the shelves, add wire racks, and stand the bottles up.

After a recent incident having a perfume crystallize at temps in the mid-upper 40s, I am leary of refrigerating perfumes in a conventional refrigerator. However, a wine fridge with controllable temps is something I will be using, with the temp set at 53ºƒ. Those are always as deep as a wine bottle though. Is that too deep for you?

I too have a question. If I were one day to obtain a fridge, what is the best temperature for storing frags? 10 degrees celsius? I don't think it'd be smart to keep them overly cold...

Great question, thanks for posting this Dullah. I wonder what the consensus is on "best fragrance fridge" and what temperature is ideal.
