Default Givenchy Vetiver, Tom Ford's Grey Vetiver

Givenchy Vetiver has a slight nutty tinge to the vetiver.
I have read reviews that Givenchy Vetiver and Grey Vetiver are similar, does Grey Vetiver also have a slightly nutty tinge as well?

I don't get the nutty aspect to Givenchy, which I own. For me, it is equal parts lemon and modestly earthy vetiver.
I've only sampled TF Grey Vetiver, but I think it is like Givenchy, minus the lemon. The vetiver aspect has a similar cushy and cozy vetiver scent.

Neal, the nuttyness is in the Tom Ford, but it is very subtle. I'd say that if you weren't looking for it, it might be difficult to detect.

I love the stage of development when Vetiver is nutty, usually in the late top-notes to mid-notes. The vetiver fragrance which has the strongest and longest lasting nutty stage (that I have tried) is Lalique Encre Noir.

Grey Vetiver reminds me more of Guerlain Vetiver minus the tobacco note.

Nutty as in 'crazy'. A 'nutty' or 'crazy' tinge to the vetiver. JK - Nutty as in hazelnut, chestnut, almond, walnut et al.
