Thread: My first bad blind buy :(
After my complete success in sample choices for my Smell Bent gift pack -
Loving Totem Eclipse and Mountain High, I stupidly decided against buying a whole bottle of one of these even though the first was love at first sniff - as I thought "Ow well I'll use my whole bottle voucher as a blind buy and I can always buy one of these in the future"
I used my voucher on Hansel & Dreidel - animalic honey, wheat and baking spices and musk apparantly.
Unfortunately my dreaded note "clove" shines too brightly for me (I didn't realise there was clove in here), paired with ginger which I also don't like, for me, out do the honey and wheat and anything I enjoy.

Ouch sry to here that, I always try a sample a fragrance out before buying when there's a specific note in there that I'm not a fan of.
Ive been lucky - ive never had a bad blind buy

Sorry that this happened. Taste is such a personal thing, and it's bound to happen from time to time.

That's a shame man, sorry for your missfortune, maybe you can swap it/sell it off on the marketplace ?
Blind buying's dangerous. I used to do that but now I usually sample first. Sorry about your experience!
I was gonna blind buy A*men after seeing so much hype.
THANK GOD I tested it out last second.
damn ... blind buying can be a bipolar experience - elation at the prospect, depression at the reality ... sorry to hear about your misfortune ...
Best to test, try before you buy
There is technique - read ALL reviews, good and bad, to get a clear "picture" of what to expect. Only when you are totally comfortable with your blind buy, should you press the button!!
LOST! in scent and music
Sorry for you :-( I'm an other blind buyer, sometimes unhappy! It's the hazard perfume ...!
