    Default everyday fragrances

OK every one i need a new everyday, non offensive and cheap~ish(i.e. non-niche) workhorse, i use to use blue jeans but i can't use it any more (on religious grounds as it may have notes from a 'citrus cocktails'). Here is a list of what i have so far ...

    1 Million by Paco Rabanne
Burberry London for Men by Burberry
Le Male by Jean Paul Gaultier
    Only The Brave by Diesel
    Blue Jeans by Versace
Live Jazz by Yves Saint Laurent
    Polo Sport by Ralph Lauren
    Story by Paul Smith
    The Dreamer by Versace

So what do you lot recommend?

on it's note list it says 'citrus cocktails' im not sure if it is synthetic or not, or if it means just a mix of different citruses or a drink ... if it is not synthetic and from an actual (alcoholic) drink then i can't wear it because my religion says i cant

My man, if you're serious about totally abstaining from Alcohol 100%, you should know that every scent you listed is at least 80% alcohol. Apply these scents to clothes and use natural oils on your skin.

alcohol denat is not drinkable i.e. cant cause intoxication

No modern fragrance with a booze note is actually going to have booze in it.

And even if you were to find an extremely niche frag that actually has some booze derivative in it, the "drinkable alcohol" would be removed, and only the benign smelly bits would be left over.

    Anyway, I vote Live Jazz.

If you like a clear but not crude leather note in an everyday frag, I can't think of a better one than Everlast Original 1910.

"cocktail" used in that way is most likely referring to a mixture of things that are blended together so that it's hard to pick out any one note. Like an alcoholic cocktail, the result is hopefully more palatable and less harsh than any one or two specific components.

Aside from that, I've read that Story is a good work/school choice.

    I'd Vote 212 Men

1 Million by Paco Rabanne= Clubbing Fragrance, to strong for day wear

Burberry London for Men by Burberry- "I own" Great winter/fall scent, not good for class room or in doors "most of the time"

Le Male by Jean Paul Gaultier- "I've owned" Great for Winter/Fall not great for a closed enviroment such as a class room, good for clubbing

Only The Brave by Diesel- "I own" It's sinthetic crap. That's all i can say, it was the biggest waste of money ever!

    Blue Jeans by Versace
Live Jazz by Yves Saint Laurent
    Polo Sport by Ralph Lauren
    Story by Paul Smith
The Dreamer by Versace- One of my absolute favorites, i would recommend this one completly for day and night, but since summer is coming up i would not wear that much

When I read workhorse, I immediately thought of Guerlain Vetiver. I don't wear it much these days, but for a long period of time, it was hot in my rotation (or lack of).

It's been a while since I stuck with one scent every day. However, I wear these on consecutive days if it strikes my fancy:

    Guerlian Vetiver
    Guerlian Habit Rouge
    Terre d'Hermes
    Caron Pour Homme
    Caron Third Man
    Helmut Lang EDC

I've not tried all in your list and the ones I have tried I would not use every day.
