    Default Shipping to Canada?

Would it be okay for a fragrance to undergo very cold temperatures?

I was wondering this because it can get to -30 here during the winter, and if I were to buy a fragrance online, would it be damaged by the cold?

Also, which Canadian retailers are good for buying cologne?

    Thanks!

    Welcome to Basenotes, Automatic!
Since I live in Minneapolis, I am familiar with cold. I have had no problems whatsoever, even at -20 Fahrenheit (except that you have to let the fragrance warm up before you can even smell it). Since fragrance is around 85% alcohol (correct me fellow BNers if I've got this wrong), it's pretty tough to make it freeze.
As for good Canadian retailers, I'm sure your fellow Canadians will chime in. I know only of Holt Renfrew and when I dealt with them recently, they were excellent.
    cheers!

    Thanks for the advice!

And yes I went to Holt Renfrew to smell around, but haven't found anything that I really like yet. I think I just have to get used to the smells and learn a bit more to appreciate different scents.

I'm off to sample the world of fragrance now.
