Default Versace Man Eau Fraiche or Light Blue Pour Femme?

I've heard these fragrances are basically the same thing due to it being made before the license was lost with D&G with some slight differences.

I like both of them but debating on which to get for myself.

Light Blue has great sillage and longevity although I prefer Eau Fraiche slightly due to it's more masculine feel. I'm not entirely sure on the sillage or longevity on it though and I'm not going to purchase a fragrance with bad longevity.

Between these two which one would you recommend?

Reading the notes of each fragrance, they really are quite different--though not completely dissimilar in the final result. I think they're both bottle worthy, but if I had to choose only one, it would be Versace Man Eau Fraiche. This is because I like the slightly coniferous smell to the Versace fragrance.

I own VMEF, and my girlfriend owns Light Blue. I've been known to use a spray or two of her Light Blue.

In my opinion these two aren't as similar as they're made out to be. The Versace is IMO much woodier and "smellier"/muskier whereas Light Blue is distinctly feminine, atleast to me.

not sure, i dont smell female scents unless they are on a woman.

i can however tell you i am sad & slightly dissapointed i wasted $$$ on vmef!!!

liked it a bit(very bland), but my s.o(significant other) liked it, so i bought it. never again

will i purchase a frag based on what a female likes, its all about what i like. i have to wear

it, if she can get with it cool, if not oh well.

How is the longevity and sillage on Eau Fraiche? Is it good enough to warrant a bottle?

Versace Man Eau Fraīche is the winner!! Longevity and sillage are average. I love this scent

Edit: Light BLue D&G pour femme is IMO "unisex". Longevity and sillage are above average but I prefer Eau Fraiche because.............really it“s more masculine to my nose

Basing my opinion on the actual scent (since I have actually tried both on my skin), and not the marketing/classification/packaging of the fragrance - I would most definitely go with D&G Light Blue.

I own the versace as well, i really don't like the dry down to light blue, no matter how many times i tried. Although i do think the top notes of Light blue might be a bit better

100% in agreement. A bottle of my wife's Light Blue sits on my dressing table all the time. Every time she puts it on, I cannot for the life of me understand why so many people claim to not detect anything feminine about it, or find it unisex. I'd never wear it.

Versace Man Eau Fraiche is a scent I really like, it's on my radar to buy, especially as it's often discounted - but they never quite discount it enough.

Maybe people smell/perceive fragrances differently? Nah, that could never be the case........

VEF is a very peculiar scent as it varies greatly from bottle to bottle
I got a sample and it was amazing, then I purchased a bottle and it sucked (it was like a mere ghost image of the sample I had)

I believe if you ahve to go after versace, make sure it is as fresh as possible

Light Blue is my preferred choice. I just like it more. Oh and it smells less chemically.

i like versace man eau fraiche but it comes off a little plastic-y synthetic on me.

i like light blue pour femme on others, but there's a feminine apple characteristic that screams so its a no for me.

It is long time since I smelled them both and I was only beginner at fragrances but I prefered Light Blue by mile. Actually from summer Versaces I prefer Versace PH over Eau Fraiche.

    What he said.

Eau fraiche is decent but something turns me off. Versace Pour Homme however is probably one of the best, most crisp citrus designer I have smelled in recent times... Light blue is very nice, too, albeit it's been a long time since i smelled it.
