    Lightbulb Molinard Vanille.

Just a bit of a thread to extol the virtues of Molinard Vanille. If you like vanilla, really like vanilla, then this is for you. I just procured a bottle and find it exceptional in that it is vanilla without the sickly sweetness, more like the real thing. It appears to be a good layering tool perhaps with ambre and/or heliotrope. My best verbal description would be that when worn you smell like a vanilla candle.

Definitely my favorite vanilla and great for layering, especially if you want to soften or sweeten up a scent. I tend to layer it with Chanel Allure, I have the EDT and prefer more vanilla like the EDP has. I've also layered with Nirmala when the green apple and patchouli are a bit sharp on my skin., among other things. Of course by itself it is great too, not foody in a buttery cookie or cakey way, but it does have those gourmand notes - just a touch of cotton candy, caramel and fruit and no where as fleeting as something like L'artisan's seems to be on me.

I've never smelled this and it's been on my radar recently. Does anyone think you could wear this one in hot weather?

Mikeperez23; Mike, I think this might be ok in warm weather. I am not sure about hot weather. It is IMO good quality juice.

I think you could wear it in hot weather, it's not a heavy scent, at least not on my skin.

Thanks for calling attention to this one. I knew nothing about it.

mikeperez23; Hello Mike, I received the new bottle that looks like a classic head stone (as in cemetery head stone.) The Ambre, musc and vanilla are in the new bottles and Nirmala and Hiliotrope are in the old blue bottles.
