It's Guerlain's Liu EdT today. It's been ages. Kind of stumbled upon it again. Liu has too much competition! Turin calls it Jacques Guerlain's "dullest perfume". And yes, it's not evocative like L'Heure Bleue or Mitsouko. Still, its aldehydic neroli-jasmine-rose heart and the tender wood (same wood as in Mitsouko) never fail to put me in the "Art Deco mood"

Vetyver Eau de Cologne by Roger & Gallet.
My favourite vetyver, actually the only one I really like, just such a shame about the complete lack of sillage and longevity.

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, and sorry I could not travel both and be one traveler, long I stood and looked down one as far as I could to where it bent in the undergrowth; Then took the other, as just as fair, ...... I shall be telling this with a sigh somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I -- I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference. - Robert Frost
This one hasn't gotten much love here, but I really enjoy this one.
It oddly reminds me of my grandfather.
Have a great day!
