Default Masculine but sweet - your best recommendations

Got a big sweet tooth for boldly sweet men's fragrances, especially in this frigid winter we've been having. I draw the line at Joop. Otherwise, looking for suggestions. Some of my favorites in my collection include Chergui, Creed Original Santal (no, it does not remind me of Joop), and Acier Aluminium. Prefer rich sweetness. Yes, I will consider some unisex and even female-marketed fragrances - but don't get too carried away with those. . . . not looking to smell like Lolita or your Aunt Lottie.

    Any recommendations?

Do not blind buy any of these!

BUT--if you like sweet, my first impression is By Kilian Back to Black. A very sweet pipe tobacco in the top note and some say cherry vanilla tobacco. I do not detect powder. This is sold as a unisex.

A femme which may be unisex is Molinard's Habanita. A tobacco vanilla (with some powder) that is very pleasant and sweet. Habanita was recently discussed on the boards.

Finally, a mainstream scent for men, Diesel Fuel for Life. A sweet undercurrent all the way down.

Costume National Scent Intense, Dior Homme Intense and Lolita Lempicka au Masculin are my three favorite 'sweet' fragrances. Scent Intense is a rich amber with some sweet 'berries' in the background that set it apart. Dior Homme Intense smells like apple pie dusted with cocoa and a glass of vanilla custard. Lolita Lempicka au Masculine smells like 'dusty vanilla licorice,' I don't think theres any other way to describe it. Id say Dior Homme Intense is the most masculine of the three - really worth a try in my opinion.
Looking for: Andy Tauer - L'air du Desert Morocain & Incense Extreme

Big fan of Green Valley. Very curious about TF Tobacco Vanille. Don't know the others. Thank you, Mr. Dullah. Always appreciate your well-informed opinions.

A second for L'Occitane's Eau des Baux. A vanilla incense with cypress!

I just edited again and included Cadillac for Men EDT, which is similar to Arpege pour Homme, except that Arpege has a strong Iris note and Cadillac has a predominant Tarragon note.

I forgot ST Dupont Signature, another quite sweet, yet very masculine scent which is not so much like Tobacco Vanille, but more like a dry/parched, far more Masculine Guerlain SDV.

I'd rec some ambers. They're sweet but spicey as well. Try Opium Pour Homme, Tom Ford Amber Absolute
Bvlgari Black - vanilla + rubber
maybe? Serge Daim Blond (leather and apricot)

that's all I can think of for now
Tom Ford Splits!!!! - Tobacco Vanille, Tuscan Leather, Oud Wood, Noir de Noir - PATCHOULI ABSOLU
Plum Japonais, Italian Cypress, Neroli Portofino, Costa Azzura, Azure Lime, Champacca Absolute

HARD TO FIND - Lavender Palm, Arabian Wood, and AMBER ABSOLUTE, etc...

Most of the time I am very proud of the Basenotes community. Time after time I have witnessed the thoughtfulness, empathy & genuine friendship that members of this community extend to others - oldtimers & newcomers alike. There are other times, however, when egos get the upper hand and civility goes out the window. My philosophy is that I won't say anything here that I would not say if you were standing in front of me. Welcome to Basenotes, each and every one of us. ~ TwoRoads

Guerlain's L'Heure Bleue and Vol de Nuit are beyond gender and fit your desires perfectly for sweet wintry scents. Both have that great pastry-scented guerlainade, L'Heure Bleue as a spicy-iris oriental and Vol de Nuit as a woody-amber oriental.

I find YSL M7 to be quite sweet in a very non-gourmand kind of way. And Michael for Men and Lolita au Masculin are great recs I would second.
