I still have traces of YSL Kouros on from when I last applied. I last applied two or three days ago. I get similar longevity out of Thierry Mugler A*Men.

I am puzzled why everyone is saying M7. I wish it lasted on my skin as I think it is a superb fragrance.

It lasts all day on me. You may want to try it on fabric if your skin doesn't hold it.

I think I do. Only one side of the bottle is in red. How do I know the difference from the box? Does the original version have better longevity than the reformulated version? I absolutely love the drydown on this.

It's not "designer," but if longevity is your top goal, I've never run into anything like Noir Epices. This is the only frag I've ever worn that lasted all day and through the shower the next morning. Brutally tenacious. Of course, you have to like the scent too.

That is the newer version yet, I don't know if it's an actual reformulation or just a packaging refresh.

I get extreme longevity with Green Irish Tweed, 8 hours minimum, which is very good considering how most in its "scent group" get about 4. LOL you can't sit there and say "I don't care what type of skin..you'll get 8 hours" with confidence? I've watched you on youtube, your reviews are just copies of everyone elses, let the guys like Tim and Mark and even CutlassSupreme take care of that. I would love to see your take on something more complex. Back to your 8 hour theory.. Lots of people get 6 hours out of Fahrenheit and Le Male, in the world of fragrances where longevity is what makes or breaks the cologne, the 2 hour differential is huge. Stick to something you know before making a fool out of yourself.

Yep, I agree with you on the Green Irish Tweed. I'm amazed that lots of people only get 3 or 4 hours out of it. I literally get round-the-clock, 24-hour longevity out of GIT. I'm not exaggerating. It's probably the longest lasting scent I've ever owned. My wife bought it for me years ago, and if I use more than two spritzes of it, she tells me she can "taste" it, it's so strong.

As for Fahrenheit and Le Male, I wouldn't want to get more than five minutes out of those.

You want strong, inexpensive and easy to find in a store? Get a bottle of Quorum. Easily a 12-hour scent, likely longer. Has brutal, macho, football stadium-clearing sillage too. It is the antithesis of an acquatic scent. Quorum is awesome.

Wow, talk about taking the GiT longevity comment personal. o_O I personally wore it today and I still got several hours out of it, even after going to the gym. I could probably squeeze 8-10 hours out of a wearing, I'd think. Not bad. If I really wanted to be nitpicky about the topic at hand though, Creed isn't exactly a designer house like Versace, Dior, Prada, Bulgari, Cartier, etc. either.

    LOL @ "taste"
But ya I'm glad I'm not alone on this, GIT is serious high quality from the inside out, some days I do get 18+ hours out of it. Now sillage is another story, nothing is gonna project for the whole day. Yup, 2 sprays of GIT and you're good for most of the day. I think many people just expect more projection out of it because it's so expensive, but fragrances are meant to go on stronger then settle down to where nobody can really smell them unless they're up close to you.

I didn't take it personal, I'm just sick of people who think they know it all. If you knew me personally..you'd see that as technical and "insulting" as I may type sometimes, I'm quite likable. Cologne collecting has always been a passion for me, as pathetic as it may sound I would LOVE to sample every men's fragrance on the planet, lol. I lay down the facts with fragrances, and I call people out who don't know what they're talking about.

+1 I think many people starting out with frags have a bit of an expectation/desire that a frag, especially a pricey one, will somehow be a sillage monster for hours and hours. They all settle down to a degree. And that's a good thing.

Often times longevity is inversely related to quality.

I find most designer fragrances last 10+ hours, easily.
