this ought to be included in the BN directory... straight to the point, and pretty much summarizes it!

my vote is split: Tribute and Gold Man

I like Epic Man the best. Jubilation XXV is also very nice but Epic Man is my favorite! Haven't tried Gold Man yet - it must be pretty special if so many like it.

I have gone over this a great deal; I find so many offering so overwhelmingly good, I cannot pick. Also, I find the men's as good as the women's.

It's honestly a seven-way tie between, Ubar, the Dias, The Jubilations, and the Golds.

I am also totally enamored of Attar Tribute. Holy Crap! That's a smoky, magica rose!

Not a fan of Lyrics and Epics, just not my thing.

Tribute is the clear winner here, and I will add another voice to its monstrous approval.

I have only tried Jubilation XXV, Reflection and Dia Man so I can't comment what's the best (or if there's even such a thing as THE best) but I find Dia Man very versatile and wearable.

I love Jubilation XXV, but the woody amber (ISO E Super?) in the base ruins it for me, as I've become hyper sensitive to it and all I get is a harsh rubbing alcohol smell dominating the other wonderful notes.

Lyric Man gets my vote. The most elegant rose I've smelled.

My favourite is UBAR - I don't fancy any of the other Amouage scents. Ubar is brilliant - a refined, modernized version of Coco de Chanel. Great sillage. Price tag is off-putting, alas...

    so far
    Gold for Men
I have yet to try both Attars and Epic / Lyric
I was VERY dissapointed with Dia mens longevity and sillage, it seemed almost designer level to me

An exact tie between Lyric & Reflection Man.

They are both heavenly in their own regard. I wear Reflection about 5 times more often than Lyric, however.

I'd personally rate the rest as follows, by gender

    Men:
    Gold
    Ciel
    XXV
    Silver
    Dia

    Womens:
Reflection (ethereal, heavenly, beautiful! Another easy to dismiss fragrance that is really quite exceptional, imo)
    Jubilation 25
    Dia Woman
Lyric Woman (too cold. The orris really dominates in my experience)
Epic Woman (too coconutty throughout. Rather linear in my experience, unfortunately).

I've also tried Homage Attar and find it to be nice, very nice, but I honestly don't find it to be 'better' than their regular line up. I'm not a huge fan of the projection of Homage, either, starting out ridiculously strong but then fading to be too quiet, too soon.

I haven't tried those not listed. I really need to get around to sampling Ubar!

I like Dia, probably, I think it's a beautifully crafted fragrance.

Tribute is the better of the attars....but I like the smell of homage better....does that make any sense? lol Tribute is one of the best most original scents I have ever smelled! but I vote for Homage.....its not as complex as tribute...but its just a beautiful smell.
