Default Female fragrance similar to Creed's Bois du Portugal?

I just came back from NM where I sampled Creed's Bois du Portugal for the second time. When I got home I asked my wife what she thought, and she just couldn't stop smelling my arm. She wants to wear this herself, but feels BDP is too masculine, and I agree. Does anyone know of a female frag that may compare to BDP?

BTW.. She currently wears a variety of perfumes including: Black Orchid, Michael Kors Very Hollywood, Burberry London, and DK Cashmere mist.

I'm posting this question on both the Male and Female forums since I'm thinking I may get a larger response on the Male side, even though it probably belongs on the Female side. If I'm in the wrong by doing this, then please feel free to delete one of these dear moderators.

"Women's" frags rarely have that much lavender, so it really depends upon what she seeks. Belle en Rykiel has the most lavender in a women's frag that I've ever experienced. Overall, if she doesn't think Belle en Rykiel is what she is seeking, then I'd really need to know exactly what it is she liked about BdP (the top notes of BdP are very different than the drydown - do you think she liked the top notes or the drydown mostly?).

To the extent that Bois du Portugal is compared with Guerlain Heritage, Luca Turin compares Heritage to feminines such as Coco Mademoiselle and Narsico Rodriguez for Her.

Maybe she'd consider PdN New York wearable. It's sweeter and less sharp.

I one waited on a very elegant older French lady who smelled exactly like Bois du Portugal. I asked her what she was wearing and she told me it was Chanel, though I'm not sure which one.

She didn't get to smell the top notes. She smelled it about a half hour into the drydown and kept asking me to smell it some more for about the next 2 hours. This is the point where I myself stop liking BDP. The first 3 hours for me are magnificent, but then it gets too powdery on my skin. This stuff lasts forever too. I can still smell it today (20 hours after application) after washing my wrist at least four times with various soaps.

    davedude11,
She's tried Coco Mademoiselle, but neither of us like it at all. I'll track down a sample of Narsico Rodriguez for her.

    the_good_life,
We'll give PdN New York a try too.

    Thanks for your replies.

I remember it drying down to a soapy, slightly sweet lavender mostly. If that's what she seeks, even something like the "cheapo," Lomani, might be something she'd really enjoy (it's a pretty good quality frag, despite the low price).
