I've been contemplating purchasing Opium Eau d'Orient (2006, 2007 or the 2008 edition) blind since there aren't any places to sample it. I really enjoy the original but I find its kinda thick or heavy and not something I would wear daily. Would you say this is more fresh and light? Could this be something I would wear everyday?

    - Solo Loewe
    - Chanel Platinum Egoiste

    - Gucci Pour Homme II

I'm interested in Solo Loewe. What kind of scent is this? It's from a spanish house, is it not?

    Geoffrey Beene Bowling Green
    Live Jazz
    Terre d'Hermes
    Guerlain Vetiver
    CdG Vettiveru

The last three I wear year-round; I swap out L'Occitane Vetyver and a sandalwood for the Live Jazz and Bowling Green when the weather changes.

    At the moment mine is:
    Eau Sauvage
    M7 Fresh
    Mugler Cologne
    Terre D'hermes.

I'll probably also wear Dior Homme too. I know I probably shouldn't but I doubt i'll be able to resist.

I'm planning on getting something else in before the Summer too.

For the hottest, most humid days, which is pretty much all summer where I live, I wear:

    Bigarade Concentree
    Angeliques sous la Pluie
    GIT
    Live Jazz
    Eau d'Orange Verte

Anything else turns into chemical goo on me in the summer...

My ideal 8 (I don't own all of them, yet)

    Amouage Ciel Man
    Amouage Reflection Man
    Creed Erolfa
    Le Roy Soleil Homme
    Versace PH
    Olivier Durbano Turquoise
    Hugo XY
    MPG Bois de Turquie

These are two I've yet to wear in the summer but imagine would be excellent. If they don't turn horrible in the heat, they could end up on the above list in place of Hugo XY and Bois de Turquie (which I imagine may not fare well on the hottest of days. We shall see)

    C&S Oxford and Cambridge
    MPG Racine

Another that I'm contemplating adding to my wardrobe: the very sheer, very element of air oriented "Wicken 3000" by Six Scents.

I can't wait to try this on a really warm, sunny day.

I really think more people should check this scent out.
