Default A sweeter Bvlgari Black ?

I adore BB, but the vanilla teases me at times and makes me crave something sweeter but still with the same smokey quality. Any suggestiosn for something that fits the bill, or indeed something I might layer with BB? I think a sweeter smokey vanilla is what I am after! Thanks all! x

How about Serge Lutens Chergui or Santa Maria Novella Tabacco Toscano?

Well. This afternoon I am layering BB with Serge Lutens Fumerie Turque... (adjacent to one another not on top of one another) and the combination is NICE. (definitely sweeter than BB alone, and the smokey top of FT doesn't hurt the top of BB, but it is intense, so I'd suggest waiting for the heart of one before layering the other.)

Also had BB layered with Bandit yesterday, and that was interesting too. Not as sweet but the peppery Bandit and BB work very well together.

Edit:Later the drydown is complete and the combination is heavenly... The contrast and the "vibration" between BB's leathery and green drydown and the sweeter FT vanilla, beeswax, patchouli, are absolutely stunning.

I seriously need to try some SL - can you believe I have only samples one (Daim Blond) so far??

Wow, just been reading review on FT - it sounds delicious!

Body Kouros. The Incense in it gives the smokyness, the benzoin gives vanilla sweetness.

Created by the same perfumer as BB by the way....

+1. You might want to try YSL M7, too.
