    Lightbulb "L" by Lolita Lempicka.

I recently blind purchased a bottle of "L" by Lolita Lempicka because Lolita Lempicka is one of the few gourmand/vanilla fragrances I like. I was elated to enjoy "L" even more. The bottle is a bit strange but the juice is great. Rated *** Tesla stars. Try it, you'll like it.

I got this recently as well, and it's become one of my favorites. Intoxicating and soothing. I love wearing it around the house in the evening, it feels cozy.

I waver about this one - I go through phases where I adore it and then, I can't stand it. What's that all about?
But my 5 year old swipes it whenever she can and it smells fantastic on her. I just want to snuggle her up on the sofa and eat popcorn when she wears it. It's very snuggly and comforting.

@ Wordbird - I have it the same way with this scent; sometimes it feels it´s got just the right amount of sugary vanilla toffee sweetness in it to make it utterly snuggly and enjoyable, while on other occasions it burns the hairs out of my nostrils with its lingering base of burnt caramel.

I own and enjoy this one as well. The sweetened immortelle note is perfect for me.

I like the gourmand vanilla and cinnamon.

I was actually a bit disappointed with it. I enjoyed two samples before I bought the bottle (which I think is more interesting than the fragrance, even if it doesn't seem to have anything to do with the fragrance) but now it seems pretty boring and linear to me. Yeah, it's sweet and cozy and comforting, but it smells like a Snickerdoodle with a bit of orange zest on me, from start to finish.

Does this have as much anise/licorice in it, as the original?

The bottle of L has always confused me. How the heck do you spray it?!

The clear doohickey on the top of the bottle is a sprayer - you press it.

Notes are bitter orange, vanilla, cinnamon, musk and tonka bean - no anise or licorice as far as I know.

Here's another image which illustrates the sprayer more clearly -

No anise mentioned in the notes, nor do I smell any. I never did like the original, the anise/licorice was TOO much.

I sometimes have trouble with the sprayer too. I think I sprayed it the wrong way the first time I tried ... and I worry about repeating that every time now.

I also own and enjoy this one in limited amounts. Sometimes it's exactly what I'm looking for and other times just too much of a good thing...

Mike, I don't get any anise from "L," which is why I own it and not the original!

No noticeable anise/licorice in this one, I think. You spray it with extreme care, while saying a prayer the whole darn sprayer won´t fall off.

I love this scent... and love how it is sometimes distinctly different on certain people. On my friend it's very sweet, on me it's more spicy musk.

Mine has done this a few times and I sprayed myself in the face last time whilst putting the sprayer back on!

Spraying issues aside, this is a lovely fragrance. I don't get any Anise or Licorice here, it's quite different to the original. Lovely toffee vanilla desert of a perfume.
