Default List of similar fragrances by group?

Is there a post or list out there of similar smelling fragrances? I bought some testers and have found many of the fragrances smelling very similar. It would be cool to see a list where all the related scents are listed by group or family kinda like how languages are related. An example would be Victoria's Secret Very Sexy for men, Lucky Number 6, Perry Man, and Kenneth Cole RSVP would be in the same group. or Lagerfeld Man and Burberry The Beat are very similar. Or how about Gucci Envy and Burberry Brit. I don't know maybe it's just my opinion. It would be cool to see the families of fragrances organized in groups.

Google "Leffingwell Masculin fragrance" --you'll find a chart that I bet you'll find helpful.

Actually there's a thread here somewhere that has the hyperlink, too, but I'm too lazy to find it!

To be honest the website is the most confusing thing I've ever come across!

Where do you subscribe? And what makes this better?
    Thanks

yes, the site itself can be a bit confusing at first. but his classifications are the best in the business.

boosh~ You might find Michael Edwards' Fragrance Finder fun to play with:

    For masculine scents:
    http://www.fragrance-editions.com/fa...id=2139&type=M

    For feminine scents:
    http://www.fragrance-editions.com/fa...id=2139&type=F

Select a scent from the list and the fragrance finder will recommend three others that they feel are similar.
Eddie: Sweetie, what are you drinking?
Patsy: Oh, this? Chanel No. 5.

Pretty good! Wish it'd give a different 3 every time though. Thanks!

Well, you can always plug those three returns in and see what you get to match them.

There are very rare scents of same fragrance but yes they might smell familiar. Like Shi by Alfred Sung smell so same like Escada into the Blue.

I just put in HOMME EXCEPTIONNEL by Montblanc, and it came back suggesting A*MEN / ANGEL MEN
    Thierry Mugler. BLECH!!!!

I'm off to lie in a darkend room until I recover....

The three it returns for Amouage Arcus and Cirrus (my favourite two discontinued fragrances) are:

Arcus: Creed GIT, ESSENCE PURE POUR HOMME S.T.Dupont, INDIVIDUEL by Montblanc
Cirrus: CABARET HOMME Grès, DRAKKAR NOIR Guy Laroche, PASHA DE CARTIER Cartier

I think it's in need of an update lol
