Default YSL - Baby Doll Paris

I've just bought a bottle of Baby Doll Paris.

The last one I had was baby pink in color,
this one is pail lemongreen at best, plain
water color at worst. Why is that?!
The smell is like I remember it, it's just the color
    that is off.
Is it made this way, or is it damaged in some way?!

I've only had the juice on me for 30 minutes, I hope
it hasen't affected the longevity, 'cause I remember it
    to be quite long lived.

Does your Baby Doll Paris look as pail as mine?!

Oh wow. Where did you order that???

I have NEVER seen it like that before. My bottles are as pink as the words in your signature. I hope it is authentic!!!

Darling Duckie- I think it's either off or fake. I just saw some at the store and it doesn't look like that. Unless there have been changes ,it looks "off".

I bought it at a Danish beauty shop, MATAS, they are 100% genuine.
They will never sell fakes ... so it's authentic!
Now, after 2 hours of it on my skin, I can still detect the scent, but very faintly.
I think I'll go back tomorrow and exchange it to another.

It's just, I used my gay charm on the saleslady (girl), and got a huge discount (from DKR 585 to 400 straight),
so Baby Doll issen't printed on the bill, it just says 'beauty item' I just hope my little flirt is there when I come!
    Damn!

If it smells right, and if you can establish that it lasts as long as it should, chances are that it might have just faded. It could be older stock - would that make sense? The celestial blue in Angel fades to a pale greenish-taupe over time but only the color is altered, so it's not as pretty but it still smells good.

But you're right - it should be pink and pretty. Since you bought it at a boutique (and not from a seller on eBay) you should exchange it, and they should be happy to do it for you.

The smell is exactly like my last BD, but the longevity issen't.
I remember it having a very strong sillage for hours and hours,
but after two hours this juice is almost gone ... I believe it's ooooold!

I'm sorry Duc, even the bottle looks "off" to me. I purchase this perfume quite a bit and I haven't seen the bottle with the emblems in that manner. Mine always look like this:

I would say to take it back, Good luck I hope the person who helped you is there!!!!! :-)

**edited to add: wasn't the honeymoon edition of this fragrance clear?**

There is no doubt in my mind whatsoever that this frag is 100% genuine.
It's sold from the biggest chain of beautishops in the kingdom, MATAS.
Corruption is close to none-excisting in Denmark.
This is not a fake ... I just think it's old as hell!

Some perfume just changes with age, so you may have an old one. I had some Hermes Kelly Caleche go from pale pink to a pale beige colour.

I also had some bring pink Vivienne Westwood Boudoir go to a brownish cognac colour.

Went back today, and told the same saleslady,
that my Baby Doll had seen better days, as it
was both lacking in color and strenght.
She looked at it, laughed, and took it back without
    disgussion.

She didn't have anymore big bottles of BD, so I
go myself 100ml Égoïste Platinum instead, I
need some more summer frags anway!

What a relief! I've been lazy and/or complacent in the past and decided to just live with faulty bottles of this or that, but I always live to regret it, and that particular bottle always seems to become a thorn in my side. I'm glad it worked out for you and has a happy ending...but I suppose it's not really over until you get your big ol' bottle of new pink Baby Doll!
