Good thread here.. deserves a bump.
Mine: JdJ Rouge, TdH, Tom Ford - Grey Vetiver, Corduroy, Tommy Bahama
These were actually very hard to select, I kept removing others and replacing.. but overall this is right.
I have lived only 40 years and I cannot make up my mind what is my favorite fragrance let alone a Millenium.
The only easy day was yesterday
Despite the fact that I see a general decline in the quality of designer releases this past decade, I am none the less truly overwhelmed when it comes to listing five favorites from the last decade and a bit. Really, there have been dozens and dozens of beautiful, stunning fragrances, and it seems to be carrying on!
Given that, my current list, by a narrow margin:
Frederic Malle En Passant
Frederic Malle Carnal Flower
Neil Morris Gandhara
Comme des Garcons Luxe: Champaca
Montale Aoud Cuir d'Arabie
Rive Gauche PH
Endymion and Opus 1870, both by Penhaligons
Rive Gauche pour homme
Burberry London for men
Polo Modern Reserve
Kenneth Cole: Reaction
Tommy Bahama: Set Sail South Barts
Lacoste: Pour Homme
Sean John: I AM KING
Givenchy: Play Intense
Sell/Trade-- Issey Miyake(Summer '09)~Calvin Klein(One Summer '07 & '09)~Eau De Grey Flannel
Yves St-Laurent M7
Chanel Allure Homme Édition Blanche

3. Cuba (2002) by Czech & Speake

No.5 is tricky as I have not tried Tiberius (2009) by Star Trek ( Alas! Mojo by Austin Powers came out in 1999) nor Vetiver by Givenchy which is a 1959 scent but it was discontinued and reintroduced in 2007. Would that count? Also keep in mind that the new millennium, as long as we're going to be accurate, did NOT begin in 2000 but on 1/1/2001-- I knew you really wanted to know that Nor Creed's Feuille Verte (2006)--um spotted at Marshall's, anyone??
For crying out loud! I haven't even had a whiff of:
Calum (2006) by Calum Best
Encre Noire (2006) by Lalique
Rainforest or Rebellius by Ayala Moriel
Tabacco (2008) by Odori
Tuscan Soul (2008) by Salvatore Ferragamo
No wonder I'm falling apart!
