Default Eton College by Taylor of Old Bond Street

I am very curious about this fragrance. I hear it is a barbershop-themed fragrance. I have a sample of the shaving cream, but was told the cologne smells different? Can anyone describe its scent and compare it to some of the other TOBS fragrances? Is it a cologne designed for a younger age group?

It does indeed smell different from the shaving cream. It's probably their strongest frag - heavy citrus opening, spicy middle and dry powder and woods at the bottom. It's a variation on the barbershop fougere, as most TOBS frags are. It's not designed for younger people, in fact I seem to remember most reviews of it suggesting it was quite the opposite - stuffy and very English. I really like it and, on me, it's a pleasant and wearable subtle spicy fougere. I don't think it's their best offering by any stretch, but I can't personally see what there is to dislike about it.
