    Default Anyone recognize this bottle?

A friend of mine has this and asked me to identify the fragrance by the bottle. I don't recognize it.

    Thanks,

Is it a small or mini bottle? Could be a Chanel, for some reason I don't think its chanel.

I think I saw minis of Coco like that ages ago. What does it smell like? Is is very spicy and Oriental? I looked and my more classic Chanel bottles, with the flat shape, and there are marked consistencies to this, like the lip of the bottle, the width of the stopper, and the lenght and width of the neck. As well as the thickness of the flagon glass. I'd wager (And I am guessing), base on the "weight" of the stopper, it was a special issue "cube" min of Coco from circa 1990. And gosh, I am sure I saw some ... Is it like super small, too?

I feel this is a lot squarer than the vintage Chanel miniatures which were presented more in rectangular bottles.

I was thinking perhaps Lanvin or Balmain.
Are there any markings/impressions at all on the base?

That is a Balmain bottle. So it could be any of them, Jolie Madame vintage I have seen in this bottle.

Looks like a Divine bottle to me. Possibly L'ame Soeur

    Thanks everyone,

The bottle doesn't belong to me. It belongs to a friend who is selling it and asked me if I recognized the shape. She said the only markings were an impression of Made In France on the bottom. I thought "chanel" at first but the bottle is square, not rectangular (and I have never seen Chanel in a bottle shaped exactly like this one.

I also cannot sniff the contents. It does come from an estate and the rest of the collection is older (more than 20 years) and not very high quality.

I will ask her for the dimensions.

    Thanks again!
