A watershed scent from 'way back when. This is a sweet, powdery oriental designed for men. Some have called it "French Old Spice," but his outdoes Old Spice by a mile. Old Spice is mellow and predominantly spicy, whereas HR is rich and provocative. Sandalwood, rosewood, carnation, vanilla, and incense notes top the list in this fragrance. The feel of this for me very much recalls my first encounter with Chanel Égoïste, a truly wake-up moment. A very little HR goes a long way. This scent has sillage writ large. Everyone should sniff this at least once, and on skin, not paper. Only then can you know if you can carry this off.

Yr good bud,

Have I told you about the scent of jasmine? Have I spoken about the smell of the sea? The earth is scented. And I perfume myself to enhance what I am. That's why I can not wear a perfume that bothers me. Perfuming is an instinctive wisdom. And like all art, it requires some knowledge of yourself..."
