Just off to dreamland. Testing Jacomo Silences tonight, a fitting name for a sleep scent, no?

Oh what a shame! I love CdÉ, it changes on me according to the weather.

Today I'm wearing Michael Kors. This is ALWAYS too heady, and I love it for that.

Oh you gorgeous thing you! But that's like being too rich - or too thin.....

I'm gonna sally forth in Ineke's Field Notes From Paris....scribbled on a scrap of Le Monde whilst cuddling up a leather-clad biker smoking Gitanes, and sipping Earl Grey. Dun't get any better than that!! (Bless you Chaya!!)

Accidentally, Cartier's Baiser Du Dragon. I was looking through some old samples, fiddled with the cap and got a facefull. So I'm going with it!

top notes: bitter almond, neroli, gardenia
mid notes: iris, cedar, musk, bulgarian rose
base notes: vetiver, patchouli, benzoin, amber

I keep waiting to grow into this. The notes are fantastic and push all the right buttons but there's something about it that just doesn't fit me yet.

That must be a wonderful experience for you.

Am again in Sel de Vetiver + Black Vetyver Cafe. It's like bacon bits in chocolate (winking at Ubu) for that sweet-and-salt turn on. Thank fate and RHM and N-M for prompting my acquisition of the big bottle of SdV.

Hey Quarry...you are most welcome! I tried the Jasmine, Iris & Charmes but had to return all three because the notes had gone "off" enough that scent was no longer pleasant. I think we got the best of the bunch, the SdV & my Rose Poivree.
To let the rest of you "in" on this, a store close to me is dumping their TDC stock. I was going to post contact info but turns out, most of it had gone bad, so I couldn't in good faith pass the info along. The also have a few Rosines but they too smell right on the borderline.

So...what to wear today? The temperatures are going to be recordbreakingly hot....mid 80's. So what does one wear to the radiology department of the hospital in hot weather?
Here's what I'm considering: SL Fleurs du Oranger, Rosine's Rose d'Ete, ELd'O Rossy De Palma (eau de protection, I like that), L'Artisan THE Pour Une Ete, Ava Luxe The Noir or Chanel #19 edt or parfum.

Let me know what you think. I leave in an hour for the hospital.

I'm going with MPG Fleur d'Iris today. This has a very green opening, then drying down to an almost slightly vanillic iris. Some may find it boring, but I always just feel like I smell good wearing this. Also, I use it for office meeting days where I don't want to smell too perfumy

Lol - I suppose a dragon's kiss would be sort of like a smack in the face, so that seems an appropriate application method.

I'm in sweet powdery clouds of Keiko Mecheri's luscious Loukhoum - so delicious!

RHM ~ I’m thinking Thé Noir, just because that seems most clear-headed, and that's the attitude I'd need in that situation. But it really all comes down to your mood of the moment, doesn't it?
