Interesting article. Has not happened to me in memory but I certainly wouldn't dispute the fact. Interested to hear from those who have.

When Fate Man was launched and there was a lot of chatter about it here I had a dream that I tested it. It was very nice; smooth, warm, soft, powdery, a bit nutty, musky, lightly spiced (cardamom mainly). When I got a real sample I didn't like it as much (not too fond of immortelle).

There have been others but I don't remember them clearly.

    Thanks for the link.
I read Rosalia Cavalieri book some time ago, and found it very interesting, by the way.
Yes, it has happened to me, in several occasions. Smelling- or tasting- scented things, but also "composing" a fragrance. The problem is that, as it often happens in dreams, I couldn't recall anything but a vague sensation of having smelt, when I woke. I think I had an experience similar to Marais'- having imagined in a dream a fragrance that was highly expected, but I can't remember what it was

Thanks indeed for sharing. I occasionally experience sensing fragrances during my dreams, sadly do not remember most notes when waking up. However, I do remember even the scent notes sensed during one of these dreams, somewhat similar to a very concentrated, slightly sugary and also astringently smelling citrus/triple sec liqueur. While other dreams regarding fragrance have also occurred, can not recollect all of the remaining notes sense.

I have, on at least two occasions, had dreams involving smells. The first time I smelled Ylang Oil, the second time I was creating a fragrance and could smell it.
