Thread: Similar scents to M7
M7 is my favorite scent. However sometimes I get tired of wearing it so much. Can anyone suggest something similar to M7? Thank you.

You should try the Eau de Parfum version of Guerlain's Habit Rouge. It has an agarwood note and an ambery slightly overripe sweetness that reminds me of a less sharp cousin to M7. It's hard to find, but sometimes you can find it from eBay.
It depends upon what you are responding to in M7 mostly, but I'd say Jacomo Rouge may be what you're seeking.

An expensive option that smells somewhat similar is Cruel Intentions by By Kilian. I however, prefer M7 (although many prefer CI, so it's worth a sniff at least.)
Iris Pallida 50ml
Ungaro I 75ml

I think is Costume National Homme is just as if more intriguing....
If it's the dark, sweet part of M7 that gets you, try Dior Homme Intense. It's got the sweet, cherry-ish top, with a warm drydown. Highly addictive.
If you love M7, you're gonna faint when you smell Oud Wood. It's my favorite Tom Ford. Here, the medicinal oud is toned way down and is accentuated with creamy rosewood and spicy yet fresh cardamom note. Amazing!
I agree with the above with Dior Homme Intense.
As well, I feel Fahrenheit Absolute is a scent similar to M7

Really guys? I'm going to be the first to mention Nasomatto Duro? It's M7 amped up to 11.

ointments and perfume delight the heart....
dry-down of Jesús del Pozo Arabian Nights = dry-down of M7
my current top five (always in transition)
Dior Eau Noire
HdP 1725 Casanova
eau de gloire parfum d'empire
Dia man Amouage
comme des garçons man 2
This is the most random list of suggestions I have ever read. Among those, maybe Nasomatto Duro would work, if it wasn't pointlessly inferior and more expensive than any vintage M7.
Would be great to know if some thing similar I can get because I never got chance to smell M7.
M7 Oud Absolu is still close to the original. It isn't a far cry from it as some claim.
Korres - Saffron Amber Agarwood Cardamom is somewhat similar. Lighter and fresher, but it does smell sort of in the ballpark.
I obviously haven't tried every fragrance ever made but the original M7 shocked me when it was first launched and I haven't smelt anything similar to it since. It was a bold, courageous creation by YSL, which is sorely lacking in 'designer world' nowadays.
"Noir" edp by TF has the same powdery plus same all around vibe as m7 vintage imho!

"Thank GOD for the nose, for without it we would not be enjoying these beautiful created Scents" also Remember "Balance is everything and the key to appreciating "
None, but Mitzah has some similarities imo.
Montale Aoud Shiny has that vibe IMO.
Your mileage may vary, I just never understood the critique that Oud Absolu is nothing like the original.
Perhaps also LM Black Oud, layered with anything spicier and/gourmand. This being said, although M7 is by far not my favorite fragrance, have to admit it is not just that skillfully but also that uniquely crafted up to the point of being difficultly or even impossibly matched by even remotely similar designer or even niche/designer exclusive/otherwise limited edition, indie and/or artisan fragrance still in production and widely retailed.
