Currently my favorite is Kenzo Power. But Curve might still be my favorite all time since I've worn it for so long and feel I have a weird connection with it.

Probably a bit boring, but mine would be Bois du Portugal. Above all, I like masculine scents.

Difficult to pick one..... probably between Guerlain Vetiver and Chanel Pour Monsieur Concentree

It's truly its wonderful self, but it always seems like it makes linear scents embarrassed for themselves. At least as I've worn it, admittedly not enough.
    And your favorite is?

I may need to check out some of these older Creed's that everyone loves so much. A cheaper alternative to Kenzo Power is Set Sail South Seas, if you've never tried it.. it has the EXACT same opening, and can be acquired for a fairly cheap price.

I hope this remains a top thread for a while so I can get even more opinions. Many seem to match which in my mind tells me that it has to be something phenomenal. I would love to know what SirSlarty's number one is!

Guerlain Vetiver with Aramis Tuscany nipping at it's heels. Now for discontinued that would go to Halston 101. It is the first real fragrance I purchased for myself back in 1984.

The Basenotes reviews are a bit over the top, and I hesitate to call anything, "Best male fragrance ever made," but it really is a masterpiece.

I'll grant that it's a pleasant smell. But better than Azzaro Pour Homme? Better than Rive Gauche?
Oh, I've been wearing Paco for years and I never tire of it. It's the closest thing to a perfect fragrance for me: it's timeless, appropriate for all occassions, it's super masculine, it's strong, it has great staying power, it's got great sillage, it's so comfortable to wear, etc. I could go on and on. I just love it. Plus, the intense green smell of Paco Rabanne is intoxicating.

I think the only reason Paco Rabanne may smell generic to some people is because it has been copied by other fragrances for so long. It's still a benchmark for what an aromatic fougere is. Even Kouros was heavily influenced by it.

I have been wearing Tabac Original EDC since 1973, and it is my 'desert island fragrance.' Dozens and dozens of other fragrances have come and gone, but Tabac Original remains. I also love the EDT, which is subtly different. There are so many other fragrances that I love, but for me, none will ever equal my precious Tabac Original by Mäurer & Wirtz!

I am eligible for Gucci Pour Homme rich with nucklear blast of incense, cedar, leather burning a hole under that make a pleasure, I can not imagine how it would go. Gucci PH is Masculine, Elegant, intriguing and Intense. I never felt when I lost even in the heat or cold. Although many condemned the aroma of pencil shaving and church catholic incense... but it is not just for hating. Hopefully, there will always be Gucci anywhere without discontinued.

I always think of Aqua Velva Frost Lime and my Dad slapping a little on my face along with his after he was done shaving. I know generic and boring pedestrian juice.

That said, my favourite to wear right now is Floris Special No. 127. It gets some bad reviews, but I find it very charming, clean and uplifting. Together with the history behind it I just enjoy it so. Guess I know what I am wearing tomorrow.
