    Default Xeryus Rouge

So, I've gotten a large decant of this juice
from a fellow BNer. I used to have this frag
years ago, and had all but forgotten how
    deee-licious it is ... damn it's good!

Only problem is, that the sample I've got is
    from an old flacon.
So my question is; did the juice get refor-
mulated when it got the new bottle?!

I don't think it is reformulated, Monsieur le Duc. I have one of each bottle, new and old, and they smell the same to me, both on my skin and on paper.

This could very well beat Égoïste off as my new signature scent!

Exactly why I love it. Very unique indeed.
Could easily be sold as a pour Femme too,
and the sillage and longevity are to die for.

Long Live the Marquis de Givenchy..!

I had a very eager sales associate try to send me home with some not too long ago, but I resisted. I might have to go revisit this temping offer. . .

Well, I'm not one who can talk professionally about a fragrace,
but I like the sweet fruty opening, which dosn't seen to change
much, the topnotes never stop - on me that is.
What do you guys call such a frag? Linear?! I like that.
Besides, the longevity kicks ass ... I could smell myself all day
yesterday, that's some 10 hours, add great sillage to that.
My bigsister totally fell in love with it too, complimented me.

It's a very unique frag, nothing like this. It's kinda like a sweet
version of Fahrenheit ... harsh, but in a sweet way.
It's hugely neglected, so one can have it for one self ...

    I LOVE THIS JUICE..!

I bought this one blind (it was comparatively cheap). I opened it up and sprayed it on the back of my hand. It developed a funky plant smell, like raw aloe vera or something. I assume this is the cactus note (cactus note??). Well, I didn't like it. That funky note is much less troublesome if I spray it on fabric instead of skin. Maybe I will be able to wear it on skin eventually. It may also depend on what skin--I notice some difference in performance depending on the site. Otherwise, it seems to be a very sophisticated, dry and deep. A bit spicy, with a bitterness that seems to run through a lot of frags of that era. If anyone wants to swap me for it (and deal with shipping to Japan ((frags are legal in the mail))) let me know. My 50ml bottle has only been sprayed a few times.
