Exclamation A Chanel That I Feel Works Well for Men.

I received a bottle of Cristalle EDT today that I purchased at the recomendation of some of the ladies on the Female Fragrance Discussion thread. This fragrance marketed for women IMHO works just fine as a male fragrance. Citrusy and great for summer in the heat. I give it a rating of three Tesla stars *** and suggest you check the notes on the Base Notes Directory. Try it. You'll like it. To the ladies on the Female Fragrance Discussion Thread, Thank you. You were correct, as usual.

    vintage or current?

I believe the current formulation is not satisfying.

I was hoping this one would be vintage but, I don't think it is. I might check out the EDP. Have you tried it? If so, what are your thoughts please?

    Original or 'Eastern import'?
I hear original (French), vintage EDC, coded, are the best!

i sampled the Edp...the opening reminded me of a subdued more refined grey flannel. Drydown is okay, didn't last very long on my skin tho.

Cristalle is a fabulous citrus chypre fragrance (I've only smelled the EDT, didn't know there was an EDP). I've seen articles in magazines saying that it's not appropriate for anyone over 40. What a bunch of B.S.. Those who say that probably don't have what it takes to pull off wearing it.

IMO Cristalle makes a good masculine because it is so dry. It reminds me a lot of Goutal's Eau du Sud.

    The current formulation is excellent.

I happen to favor Cristalle over Pour Monsieur. Go figure.
