This comes up every now and then, it's old news by now... But it's certainly extravagant!

I find it kind of hilarious that they offer for you to buy it online. As if just anyone is gonna drop $9 grand on an online purchase for this stuff. I can see someone strolling into the Neiman Marcus & buying it or the Guerlain boutique...but buying it unsniffed? WTH?

I totally agree- it's very nice ...if you are in the league of Richard Branson or Warren Buffet ..but I am certain sane humans will find it hard to pay $9000 online .
If you are going to splurge $9000 - then I guess you would want a little customer service too.

Guerlain's been offering some ridiculously bad deals lately in their upscale releases. Failing to have held on to the old Guerlain, they seem to be aiming to become the new Clive Christian...

True, true ! I liked their solid old fashioned values which are becoming a thing of the past.

I tried to search the archives, but only later found a thread discussing this.

Odd, isn't it? As some noted, $9000 online to buy this? I guess some people do this in this day and age...

    Again, one can dream...

Holy cow. For that price, they'd better BRING the never-ending refills to me.

This might appeal to some nouveau-riche, but not to me. (not that I could ever be confused with any sort of riche, nouveau or otherwise.)

Why does it NOT in any way look like a fountain, and more like a slightly cheesy Photoshop mashup of the base of a drinks glass and a perfume bottle... with a gold dispenser nozzle? (and how "box-wine" that seems.) (why do I also suspect a ploy to part the unsuspecting and unrefined aforementioned from their money?)

Are we sure this is real?

Heard of this famous Mon Nectar thing.

    Ridiculous.

To buy this thing, $9000 should be pocket change for me. Even so, I doubt I'd do such a foolish act- to buy this fancy-wannabe thing that looks like an old beer dozer. Looks "shiny-shiny and bling-bling" to me, an object that might have been present in the limo that Madonna had that MUSIC video. Even if expensive... honestly... looks tacky.
And again... why would I EVER need to buy such thing? LoL, I think it would be useful for a doctor, if you empty it, might be good to cary liquid for enemas. :=)) Guerlain style.

P.S.-Warren Buffet (that has been mentioned) lives a NORMAL life.
"Diego: Why did you do that? you could've died trying to rescue me.
Manfred: That's what you do in a herd: you look out for each other. " (Ice Age)

Wine box, indeed! LOL! Good observation, Luna! Much like a samovar.
