Default Which Guerlain(s) am I missing, based on my wardrobe?

So self-serving, and saving up for the Fall as I am in a self-imposed buying "grounding"...

I'm wondering, what should my first extravagant Fall Guerlain purchase be, based upon my wardrobe. (I love 90 percent of what I have listed, FYI, if that helps.)

    What think you all?

(keep in mind that I may need to let the "woman who does" go for a while in order to afford it, come the Autumn... But I've let the gardener go, but kept the poolboy, on abbreviated hours (oh yes, and had the pool converted to a vegetable/herb garden!) Ahem.... Now < as if that's any different from "ever," truth be told! > I'm doing the gardening and yard work myself.)

I looked at your wardrobe ,you could try Chamade , Actiasluna. That is a beauty ,beauty ,beauty - try the extrait.
Also - for lemmings- Bergdorf Goodman have their Guerlain fragrance trunk show on their website .... worth a look . Vega, Sous Le Vent etc ,etc . I try not to look at prices there.
Mon Precieux Nectar- Mr. G has some reasonably priced decants on his website- I so so feel like getting some......

    What a lovely collection!!!
Here are her Guerlains thus far:

    Chant d'Aṛmes (1962)

    Coriolan (1998)

    Habit Rouge (1965)

L'Instant de Guerlain pour Homme (2004)

    Mitsouko (1919)

    Shalimar (1925)

    Vetiver (1961)

    Vol de Nuit (1933)

Based on your comment about "big" purchasing, I'd first recommend the two "finest"scents (IMO) missing from your Guerlain line-up:
    Parure and Plus Que Jamais.
(If you DO seek out Parure, be sure to aim for an older-thanbee bottle version. This later release is still gorgeous, but thinner and "brighter" than the still-available black-capped, one-ouncers you can find, which are from the eighties and as 'dark' as night.)

If you are looking to flesh out the classic vintage line-up, then I would direct you to Chamade and L'Heure Bleue, as those most obviously strike me as "missing" in a Guerlain library-effect sort-of thing.

If you are shooting for the most 'cultish', afficionado-acclaimed type-of ones, I suppose both Apres L'Ondee and Sous Le Vent would be ones to look into.

And if you are just asking me what my favorites are, that I honestly think you'd dig and make use of -- especially since you like to wear men's scents like I do -- I'd recommend you find an older bottle of Heritage in an orange-hued box and/ or give the inexpensive, under-appreciated mimosa chypre Champs Elysees a try...

Looking at your wardrobe, I think you would love Jicky and Mouchoir de Monsieur.

You have a lovely wardrobe as it is!
But of course a wardrobe isn't complete without Jicky! Preferably EDP or extrait!
I think you should order Attrape Couer, but do it fast as it was recently discontinued! It's has the basic structure of Mitsouko but is drenched in amber and smooth from top to bottom. My favorite Guerlain -- bar none!
Vega is like Chanel No. 5 but with a Vol de Nuit drydown!
I just recently purchased Sous le Vent which is an extremely animalic chypre-fougre! Very longlasting for an EDT as well!
I actually think Eau de Shalimar is very lovely and would make a nice addition for a summer oriental.
I could go on and on and on and on...when it comes to Guerlain!
    Don't make me chooooose !

I think you would enjoy Sous le Vent and Jicky ,but I also think that you need to check out L'heure bleue too, since you have the other "sister scents" in your collection already.

Have you tried Angelique Noir? It's hard for me to imagine someone who would not absolutely love it.
Also I love Bois d'Armenie a lot, a lot. But I can imagine people not liking that one.

My wardrobe is stacked with quite a few Guerlains as well. My next planned purchase is CHamade EDP, which I will have to score from Europe.

I"m not a fan of Gourmands, so the higher priced line of Boise Torride, chypre Fatal, etc. didn't appeal to me.
The A and M line is good, but I've realized a caveat: Their bottles dno't come sealed, and I find I'm losing the sparkle from Bois D'armenie rather quickly.
I have Nahema Parfum, which is one of my favorites. I didn't care for the L'Bleue or Mitsouko parfum, though, the EDP worked better for me.

Let us know what you get!!!

Honestly, I do not believe Parure, Attrape Coeur/Guet Apens or Nahema are your thing. Neither is Jardins de Bagatelle. I might be wrong.

I believe you would love Philtre d'Amour -- a cozy chypre with a bright lemon citrus start.

Please PM me your mailing address, I can send you 2-3 ml of vintage Chamade.

Lastly, order yourself the whole sampler from TPC, called L'Art et la Materie, comes in different sizes (0.5 to 1.5 ml), not cheap though, but all of them -- Cuir Beluga, Rose Barbare and Angelique Noire included.

Acti- come back and tell us what you think of the vintage Chamade. I just got a sample to compare to modern parfum and modern EDT. I didn't care for it, actually. The dry down was OK, but it lacked the sparkle of the modern parfums.

In general I havne't liked any of my vintage Guerlain samples as well as the modern, whew, but am curious to hear what others think.
