Default Anyone notice similarites in Grey Vetiver and Azzaro pH?

Mostly in the opening, their openings remind me of each other. Anybody else feel this way?

Not for me. The opening of Grey Vetiver smells like carrots to me (which I love). Azzaro PH just opens like a fougere, but the more I wear it, the stronger I perceive the anise to be.

oh my god, you're right - a fresh, cold, raw carrot snapped in half! i've often struggled to describe vetiver notes, and you've hit the nail on the head. in encre noir, i get something between carrot and walnuts, bizarre but i love it.
