Default Joop Thrill - I'm thrilled

I was wondering what to wear last Saturday, when I came across a box of never opened Joop Thrill, which for the life of me I don't recollect ever buying - it must have been one of my cheap purchases during some sale or other.

I've never thought much of it from wrist testing, it just didn't grab me - seemed a bit cheap and tacky.

Anyhow, I applied my standard six or seven shots. In the course of the next several hours, I was quite surprised, it developed really well and I grew to really like it. Longevity and sillage was good, but not over the top like regular Joop Homme.

It's a bit of a toss up, but I like it more than my other favourite from Joop - Joop Electric Heat.

Has a liking for Joop Thrill grown on anybody else?
    Cheers,
    Renato

I've only tried it once, on the wrist in DJ's. I was pleasantly surprised and will probably grab a small bottle when I find one cheap enough! Good cold weather fragrance.
Speaking of Joop, I bought Nightflight recently. Blind. Mistake. Can't stand the stuff.

Another fan here. Hugely superior over the original Joop!, which after abusing as a 15/16 year old I could never go near again.

I grabbed it at a bargain price of £22 for 100ml.

I'm stumped for what occasion this is best for though. Doesn't seem to quite have the power for a night out, but seems to sweet and spicy for the day. Any recommendations?

I considered buying this blind a while ago. Seemed a nice summer option and I had no way to try it.
Glad I didn't after this post!

I'm sure I must have gotten mine cheap at some My Chemist or Chemist Warehouse or Terry White Chemist sale - otherwise I'd remember buying it cheap elsewhere, or I'd definitely remember it if I'd paid full price for it - just bide your time.

Nightflight has its fans here, but while I don't dislike it, I've never been able to warm to it - despite testing it for nealy a decade.

It's definitely a night scent to my nose - if worn to work one would give people the definite impression that one would rather be doing something more interesting than being at work.

If Thrill is not lasting on you at night for some reason, you can always try my old trick, namely,
Spray it where you normally do.
Wait a minute or two, then spray again exactly over where you previously spray.
This usually results in twice the longevity, but you use it up twice as fast too.
    Regards,
    Renato

mee too I was really supriised Ive ordered some samples Dirty English, D'Issey, Trill, Versace PH, Versace V/S, CK Crave, Burberry Brit, Fuel For Life,
and I must say from those selection Joop Thrill was on top place (considering my and my sister votes)
nice apple on top and gorgeous vanilla nothing as loud as Joop! Homme
2nd tie Dirty English and D'Issey
the other part was not so great (CK Crave and V/S are on bottom to buy list)

He doesn't like it, so automatically you won't like it? I bought it blind and adore it, nightflight, I mean.

    No, I don't mean I won't like it.
I just mean maybe it's best not buying blind. I am still eager to try it.

Crave I've never been very enthused over either, but V/S is interesting, if not compelling.
