Yesterday, Lys Bleu by Parfums d'Orleans...a fruity find from Wolfie (where does she GET these things??!!) which I must somehow lay my hands on.

And today - thanks to Chaya - more of the sublime Vert Pivoine by Histoire de Parfums. On me this is not very vert but VERY pivoine and I must also get the clams for this one.

    A) Am I not TOTALLY blessed in my BN friends??!! And
    B) Does it not cost me money???

    P.S. Bonne Anniversaire Dukie Baby!!!

    Good morning!

I just received a sample pack of the Xerjoff line from a dear friend, and I'm testing two--Kobe and Nio. One is waaaaaay too herbal, and the other is reminding me of lemon jello for some reason. Not my speed. Good thing the day is young!

Maroma Night Jasmine, a perfume oil I bought yesterday at Whole Foods. This is sweet, not indolic, and actually smells like the oil I used to buy back in high school (late 60s/early 70s) at a shop that sold "hippie" type stuff! Takes me right back.

Lilybelle, I was blown away by this one too. I don't usually take to Chanel, and the name Beige just leaves me cold. But OH what a beautiful white floral it is. I love the frangipani/plumeria in it!

This morning I sampled two Annick Goutals, Chevrefeuille (kinda pretty) and Eau de Ciel (soapy-musty on me). Soaked in the hot tub with a good book to catch some rays (I fill the hot tub with cool water for a pretend swimming pool), showered, and then spritzed liberally with Goutal's Vetiver, which I adore!

Nighttime scent is Amouge 25, from a sample.

The girl & I are doing much better, had a good day. Even went to an art supply store for Copic markers for her to work on three political cartoons for her social studies project. She missed three days of school last week, so she will have a lot of work to do.

On a positive note, she got her high academic achievement award. Her daddy & I are very proud of her.

Decided to test Costamor's Sugarwood today. It ended up washing off at work, but while I could smell it I thought it was rather nice - very sweet and candyish, like a Blow Pop.
