Cool Which famous person would best suit the fragrances you like?

Real or fictional. E.g. James Bond, George Clooney etc.

Also, describe why you think so.

Mine would be Indiana Jones haha because I like woody and leathery fragrances.

LOL! Didn't Oscar Wilde actually patronise one of the big scent houses of the 19th century?

My choices? No guess to many here: George Sand, Coco Chanel, Benjamin Disraeli, Edward Bulwer Lytton, the Comte d'Orsay.

I love lush, floral unisex scents...or something with a dash of tobacco or leather.

(Equipage, Habit Rouge EDT or EDP, Coco Mademoiselle, Chanel Cuir de Russie, Mouchoir de Monsieur)

Sherlock Holmes would wear Penhaligons Blenheim Bouquet. Cool, cerebral, makes you the match for any adversity.
A dry green chypre, with good herbal notes: Julius Caesar.

    Ummm...TwoRoads, of course!
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, and sorry I could not travel both and be one traveler, long I stood and looked down one as far as I could to where it bent in the undergrowth; Then took the other, as just as fair, ...... I shall be telling this with a sigh somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I -- I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference. - Robert Frost

I've tried the old version, which didn't do much for me, but I've heard they've drastically reformulated it, and that the new version is similar to Midnight Violet ( not at ALL a bad thing in my books ).

Frank Sinatra or Dean Martin. Sinatra wore Agua Lavanda, one of my favorites. Many of my bottle would have been in their medicine cabinets as well I would think.

I choose subtle fragrances that are more complex and sophisticated than what simply meets the eye (or nostrils!)

In my mind, Marilyn Manson's signature scent is Amouage Memoir. Whether it's the men or women's version depends on his mood for the day. Why Amouage Memoir? The absinthe (Manson loves absinthe so much he even has his own, called Mansinthe), the leather, the tobacco.

In my ideal world, this would be my pick, though I could even realistically picture these famous people wearing what I like:

    F. Scott Fitzgerald, Winston Churchill, Marcel Proust, Napoleon I., George IV. of Great Britain, Mademoiselle Chanel, D'Annunzio, Thomas Mann - I just love scents which suggest a combination between immensely distinguished, though slightly decadent, but also intellectually/artistically accomplished dandysm and Old School/Old World pomp and formality

I'd also be honored of the following fictional characters would love the frags I like: Fabrizio di Corbera Prince of Salina, Vito Corleone, Jay Gatsby, almost any Proust character, Tony Montana, Charles Foster Kane, but why I would have loved if they enjoyed my signature frags is a bit harder to tell, I guess the association is very loose and does much less refer to their personality, my personality or even the frags which I own and like. It's far more that I associate both these fictional characters and most of my frags an almost unreal notion of dignity and greatness
