Yeah, I go for un-scented products too.
Hygiene products are often too strongly scented. What do you use so that nothing conflicts with your cologne?
I use Dove unscented bar. I don't like to use unscented deodorant in that most brands I've tried have a weird smell to it... sort of like latex paint or something... So usually I go with Degree Clean, or Speed Stick Sport Talc. Each have a light fresh scent that doesn't conflict with cologne.
Yeah, I go for un-scented products too.
I don't use a deodorant. One spray of the SOTD will be used in each underarm.
I use dove soap, which is very mildly scented and the smell of it disappears quickly after the bath.

Tom's of Maine unscented deodorant
For soap, I use whatever body wash I like the smell of at the store. I sometimes go with unscented, but it kinda bores me.
I use a coffee-mint shower gel. The scent doesn't linger more than a few minutes, so it won't interfere with any scent-of-the-day that you put on.
I use an unscented deodorant but i m more concerned about the shower liquid.I have 4-5 different to use(not very expensive) depending on the notes of the SotD.For example a fruity one (orange blossom, citrus), a spicy one(cinnamon, ginger), a woody one(cedar) ,one with jasmin. They cover almost all the main notes , and when matching with the same bodylotion, they support the fragrance all day long.
I use the Whole Foods (365) brand unscented glycerin soap - makes a nice lather and I use it to wash my hair too.
For deodorant, I use Tom's of Maine unscented (original not long-lasting) deodorant stick.
dove cream bar or any standard soap it does not interact with SOTD as shower gels do
Tell Hugo, he isnt boss anymore.
I use perfumed old-fashioned bars of soap (right now Habit Rouge, Chanel No 5 and 19, Mitsouko, Infusion d'Homme, Dr Bronner's lavender) and a washcloth. I don't feel like the soap smell stays with me for long, but I still tend to do what mariabar does, ie roughly match the soap to my sotd. I have different perfumed deodorants that I also kind of match. I used to just use a crystal deo, but it's more fun to have "real" scented ones.

I use only bar soap- like Tott - I find bar soap fragrance doesn't stick around at all so I tend to use anything lovely -sometimes my special soaps but mostly Olay with a washcloth . I love bar soap . I dislike all these liquid shower gels and creams as I find they leave residue and make me feel uncomfortable. I like being squeaky clean.
I mostly use dial gold bar soap and speed stick regular scent. Occasionally I use Old Spice original scent deodorant.

ointments and perfume delight the heart....
Mainly Olay with Shea Butter bar soap and Degree deodorant. From time to time, I bust up my Olay bar soap routine with Thymes Eucalyptus Shower Gel (thanks for the tip, Scentemental) and Aveda Rosemary and Mint Body Wash along with the Rosemary Mint shampoo. Great stuff!
I have come to love Old Spice Classic body wash. Who can resist the tagline printed on the bottle: "If your Grandfather hadn't worn it, you wouldn't exist." It is one of the only bodywashes I have used that the scent clings to the skin faintly hours after stepping out of the shower.
I find the scent of the bodywash does not conflict with several of the Old Spice deodorants like Pure Sport, Swagger and my new favorite, Aqua Reef. Since I have been going to the gym at lunch lately I have been using the matching body spray to whatever deodorant I am wearing that day.
Green Irish Tweed soap (luxurious stuff and the fragrance dissipates pretty quickly) / Tom's of Maine unscented roll-on oversprayed with Right Guard unscented anti-perspirant for Women (it does work for men too) for a double barrier.

Here's something for you ...I've never had to use deodorant in my life- fact. Strange but true. This will sound funny but what the hell- I love you guys .........I have throughout my life ,asked people to smell my armpits for BO - nothing .

either cinnamon or tea+lemongrass for soap
fahrenheit stick for deodorant
Sometimes I use plain old Dial soap. Usually, though, I'll choose a body wash or soap of the same family of the scent I'm wearing.
Grapefruit body wash, Claus Porto Vetiver, or Trumper's Limes wash if I'm wearing a citrus or light frag.
Kiehl's Pour Homme or Molton Brown Black Pepper body wash or Crabtree & Evelyn's Nomad or Sienna bar soap if I'm wearing a woody or spiced frag.
I've tried some soaps where the scent does hang around something fierce (Dial 3D body wash, Irish Spring, some other stuff). But the scent shouldn't be hanging around in a quality cleaning product, IMHO.
Underarms get either Crystal or unscented Sure. Or nothing at all if there'll be a little bow-chicka-bow-bow on the menu later.

(3) Creed Silver Mountain Water (4) Creed Aventus
(5) Creed Green Irish Tweed (6) Thierry Mugler A*Men Pure Malt
(7) Amouage Reflection Man
I use all these depending upon my mood, SotD and weather:
Dove moisturising bar
Bath & Body Rose & Sandalwood shower gel
La Provence Neroli Shower gel
Yardley Vetiver soap
41a7sE-p-tL._AA300_.jpg41bwCbeuQoL._SL500_AA300_.jpgOnce I started wearing fragrance consistently, I NEVER wear scented deodorant. Why would I want to wear anything that may conflict with my SOTD?
I use various unscented soaps or body washes. But even if I use something scented, I'm not too worried about it conflicting with my SOTD. I rinse very well and I doubt any of the fragrance is left.
As far as deodorant. I use one of two products.
Either Kiss My Face Active Enzyme unscented deodorant.
Or Earth Science Unscented Liken deodorant.
Both these products contain natural ingredients that feed off the bacteria that causes odor. They work incredibly well.
Scented deodorants cover up odor, these products eliminate it without possibly toxic aluminum.
I use a variety of scented shower gels. They NEVER interfere/conflict with my fragrance.

I use Dove unscented bar soap.
Unscented crystal deo is nice for me,
Santamaria Novella soaps Sandalwood , EVA Shower gel,
Chanel n 5 combines well with florals and orientals
Dior Homme combine well with Iris , spices and leathers
Molton Bronw bracing SILVERBICH body wash is funny !! ( conbine well with vetiver )
Looking for Creed Spice & Wood / swap fragances , Creed Vingate Tabarome and more... http://www.basenotes.net/threads/374...me-Cuir-Beluga
I like earthy smells and I think earthy combines with basically any smell, so I use Tea Tree Dr. Bronner's soap to complement my fragrances.
If fragrance has a gender, so does all art.
Can't help myself from posting this:
I haven't used deodorant in more than 20 years. Soaps vary.
I don't know much about medicine, but I know what I like. -- S.J. Perelman
In terms of soap, I tend towards the more unscented and/or neutrally smelling Dove
Regarding deos, I tend to use mostly the generic stick, gel or roll-on deodorants by Nivea, Fa or Gillette, but also tending far more towards the most neutrally smelling of their product ranges, also completing them with a totally unscented deo by Avon and hoping to wear exclusively unscented deodorants by Hydro Fugal and Bekra Mineral someday
Soap - Simple unscented or a frag matching shower gel that comes free. When I don't plan to wear any frag I use Neutrogena Rain Bath.
Deodorant - Lab Series antiperspirant deo stick (unscented but smells of tea tree oil but fades qucikly) or frag matching deo stick (if available). When I don't have a frag on I'll use Nivea Men deodorant spray instead.
"A parent's only as good as their dumbest kid. If one wins a Nobel Prize but the other gets robbed by a hooker, you failed."
Mennen's unscented. Sometimes, the deodorant of the fragance I am wearing.
I used to use Mennen's Original, the one sharing the same notes as Mennen's Skin Bracer, as well as Old Spice Original: they used to be very strong deodorants, you could still smell their scents at the end of the day. Not anymore... curiously, I regret it.
Kirk's Castile and baking soda.
Use any shower gel i like to be honest. Sometimes something fresh and zingy to wake me up in the morning like Recover (Lynx/Axe), sometimes something softer, more moisturising like the Dove For Men shower gel range. The smell of the shower gels never really linger on me for very long so never interfere with the fragrance I decide to wear. I have got the shower gels for Kouros, L'Instant de Guerlain Pour Homme and Eau Sauvage so obviously I use them if I'm going to wear any of those scents.
Deodorant is more important to co-ordinate. I use Boots own-brand unscented anti-perspirant. It works fine and doesn't leave a musty smell like some 'unscented' deodorants tend to (all of them have some kind of parfum to disguise the smell of the chemicals).
Tempted to start trying Dove cream bar soap though. Its very cheap here and sounds good from what I'm hearing.
Dr. Bronners liquid and bar soap is the best I've tried over the years. You can wash, shampoo, and shave with the stuff. I like the uncented Baby Mild and the Peppermint versions best. I will try the almond next. For deo, I like Speed Stick Ocean Fresh.

There is no hope in modern life
I'm going to have to try that Earth Science unscented deodorant. I picked up their Rosemary Mint deodorant to wear with Reflection Man or just when I don't feel like wearing a scent, as it smells quite strongly of rosemary (moreso than mint, unlike most rosemary/mint products), and I just love the scent of rosemary!
I'm still trying to find an unscented natural deodorant that really works.

IMO! If you dont have the shower gel & deodorant for the fragrance your using ALWAYS use UNSCENTED soaps & deodorants! I dont recommend using any of the cologne deodorants because they dont work for me. But if it works for you, knock yourself out!
To be successful, you must smell successful! THATSMR2USIR
We use Trader Joe's Ginger French bar soap. Pleasant to use but leaves no real scent on the skin.
"No sweet perfume ever tortured me more than this." Desert Rose by Sting and Cheb Mami, Album 1999.
I switch between Heno de Pravia soap / deodorant and Dove soap + Mennem Speed Stick unscented.
BTW: Dove launched bodysprays and deodorants for men under two alternative fragrances, of which one is a tamed version of an aromatic fougere in the style of barbershop scents and the other is a fresh (calone-like) citric. It seems they are targetting those thinking Axe is def. not an option when it comes to personal care and fragrances.
Creed, Silver Mountain Water bodywash
Herrera for Men bodywash
Creed, Green Irish Tweed bodywash
Creed, Virgin Island Water bodywash
Almay Unscented, clear deodorant (or none).
Irish Spring, the classic "Ulster" soap. And the matching Speed Stick deodorant. Compliments most of my colognes in a subtle way, and only if you're really close to me. Honestly I don't know why they haven't made a fragrance from Irish Spring yet. It could either be a total nightmare or a strange classic if it were done right.
