I've moved back to the midwest recently, and it seems like it hasn't stopped raining since. While I hope that the sun comes out soon, I can't help but think that I might need to explore a few more fragrance options appropriate for grey days. I've been enjoying Encre Noire during this wet spell--just seems to fit. What about you--favorite scents for rainy days?

Tell Hugo, he isnt boss anymore.
Anything leathery, tobacco-smelling, musky or gourmand for my wardrobe, to my nose, there are several fragrance notes which are set in a better light as soon as the climate becomes damp and cool

L'Artisan's Tea for Two is a great on a rainy day.

'Chic is, first, when you don't have to prove you have money, either because you have a lot and it doesn't matter or because you don't have any and it doesn't matter. Chic is not aspirational....Chic is the most impossible thing to define. Luxury is a humorless thing, largely, and when humor happens in luxury it happens involuntarily. Chic is all about humor. Which means chic is about intelligence. And there has to be oddness - most luxury is conformist, and chic cannot be. Chic must be polite and not incommode others, but within that it can be as weird as it wants." Luca Turin

I personally don't have a fragrance(s) that I wear specifically for rainy days.

I wear L'Heure Bleue on dark and rainy days.
My wardrobe is based around rainy days...I live in SEATTLE. I have a hard time trying to figure out what to wear when it gets hot. I love Hermessence Poivre Samarcande, Tom Ford Amber Absolute and Cuir de Russie by Chanel...thats off the top

Sometimes it's Halston 1-12, sometimes it's Caron 3rd Man, sometimes it's PdN Nicolai Pour Homme.
That girl, that bottle, that mattress and me.
I find that [b]Grey Flannel[b] and Narciso Rodriguez for him work especially well on rainy days.
Also, Bulgari Aqua and Six Scents "Wicken 3000", when looking for something lighter/fresher to wear on a rainy day.
Iris Pallida 50ml
Ungaro I 75ml

Creed Acier Aluminium
Creed Green Irish Tweed
Ineke Derring-Do is supposedly best for rainy spring days. I have a decant that I wear for those occasions.

(1) Guerlain Tonka Imperiale (2) Creed Millesime Imperial
(3) Creed Silver Mountain Water (4) Creed Aventus
(5) Creed Green Irish Tweed (6) Thierry Mugler A*Men Pure Malt
(7) Amouage Reflection Man
Iris Silver Mist ... both redolent of a chilly fall day and warming from it.
I like Jontue, of all things, when it's raining. A shot of Demeter Thunderstorm on the ankles for accent, sometimes.
+1 on the Narciso Rodriguez. I also like Krizia Time for rainy days.
Well, REL and Erolfa and Vintage Tabarome stay at 5 stars on a rainy day though they smell nothing alike
-- As does Antaeus.
But the following jump up to 5, imho:
Jacomo de Jacomo
Need I tell you they smell nothing alike?
And, come to think of it, Minotaure by Paloma Picasso and Tuscany/Etruscan by Aramis could probably weather a hurricane, let alone a little rain.
